I enjoy the level of detail you go into. For example, taking off the coilover spring to show us how the tire would rub. Most channels would stop at, “It just rubs lol.” In the future, I just want you to keep doing what you’re doing! And maybe more New Products videos!

Kevin, can we get a 18x9.5+45 in 5x114.3? This fitment is sooo much better than the +35s and +38s, but I think I've only come across one wheel in this fitment, and I didn't feel like departing w/$2600 . (for just wheels). I so wish there were more 18x9.5 +45/5x114.3 available. Car is looking good. How's the motor build coming?
Shame the channel seems to be moving away from the 1st gen as that is what I own, but love seeing all the work done to the new generation, not helping in making me not want one lmao.

I love that you're bringing real world results and consistent content for the FRS and now GR86! It's hard to find content that doesn't quickly lose focus or feel incomplete - also being able to see the products FTspeed offers being applied is awesome. If I like something, I can go grab exactly that, and know what I'm getting and how to install! In the future, it'd be nice to see weight / size comparisons when you're replacing OE parts. Not by reading the info ( that's nice too, though) but by actually weighing the components. Seeing them side by side is really cool and would be nice.
The thing I’ve liked most about this channel is seeing you grow over time into being able to fill the void Thomas left behind. The 2nd gen must be a challenge of its own but you’re handling it really well between your personal channel and ftspeed

I been subscribed since the top of the year when I was contemplating getting a gr86. Since subscribing I ordered one in April & finally was able to pick it up from the dealership last month. & to top it off I got 1 of the first 2 ‘23 models allocated to North America which came w/ an upgraded exhaust & a bunch of other features. So in a way you’re the reason I bought the car & I’m so glad I did everyday feels like the first day. & I skate which back in may I tore my Achilles at my local park & relearning how to walk was a struggle but driving was a lot more difficult than I imagined too. Safe to say the board would be decorating the wall awhile while I recover 😭 & im looking forward to pm everything you put out that’s why I subscribed my guy 🫡🫡

That's a tough one. I don't think I've seen any axlebacks that aren't muffler deletes for the new gen so they're likely more loud than you'd like. I'd recommend looking into the factionfab or borla s catback exhaust.

Here's a question i've always had: why would you want upper control arms, when lowers will adjust the camber just fine? What is the benefit of replacing the UCA's?
Good question! On the previous gen the lca would do the trick, however, with the 2nd gen the rear wheel fitment has become a bit more difficult as you have to do more work to run as aggressive as a wheel you used to be able to run on the 1st gen. People are having to modify their fenders and trim them to fit the size I want to fit. With an upper control arm, I'm able to move the wheel inwards more to give me more clearance and minimize the amount of trimming I may or may not need to do.
Great material and information. Your R&D has helped me build my car the way I like it. Something I'd like to see are the installed parts in action eg.) ASMR /montage bits, maybe with some chill audio 😅

Here's a question i've always had: why would you want upper control arms, when lowers will adjust the camber just fine? What is the benefit of replacing the UCA's?
Good question! On the previous gen the lca would do the trick, however, with the 2nd gen the rear wheel fitment has become a bit more difficult as you have to do more work to run as aggressive as a wheel you used to be able to run on the 1st gen. People are having to modify their fenders and trim them to fit the size I want to fit. With an upper control arm, I'm able to move the wheel inwards more to give me more clearance and minimize the amount of trimming I may or may not need to do.
I like seeing the step by step process you've shown of building the cars with carefully selected parts.
