That’s the size I should have gone with😞 but I didn’t do to bad by going to the EFG135 for my 1025R. I Love that thing! It eats some good size wood and leaves it nice and clean out the back compared to a rotary cutter
Thanks for the videos. I just got the same flail and boy the problems. My question would be have you been able to find out the approximate height for each of the holes for the rear roller? Also setting the skid height in relation to the roller cut height?
I put the skids all the way down, and the roller a little higher. The skids sort of sink it, so the roller could be even higher I guess. Maybe the roller is supposed to hold it off the ground? Guess I don't know.
It is good. Just don't cut thick brush too short, the belts will melt off. I had a bearing come apart, but fixed it with $20 worth of parts. Don't know why that happened.
Dan was a bit of an ass, but for some reason this video popped up on my feed, had to watch to the end. Weve all got to start somewhere... You've got to be more careful while working with tools like a grinder, and under heavy objects.
Be sure to adjust drive belt tension. I found they were lose after I tried mine on so test weeds.
So what size belts my son did Same thing
I also found NAPA B-38 as replacement belts available locally without waiting for shiping.
21" belts. 22 and 23 are just too long.

Yeah I think I could have gone the next size up. It slips the belts before it runs out of horsepower.

They had some kind of special, so I got the heavy duty one. Work around the instructions, they are mostly accurate.

You butchered that. City folk with no idea!
That’s an ignorant statement and I’m no city folk. Who’s care how it got done. Be positive!
