Thank you so much for doing this video. I am in the process of converting a flail mower I purchased for my skid steer to operate behind my small kubota tractor. I am now thinking I need to go one size up on size of tractor to a 45 hp Vice 21 hp. I have a feeling the weight of the flailer when raised will put the tractor into a popping a wheelie mode and that will not work out very effectively to accomplish the mission I am pursuing. My missions always seem to be taken the longest route possible. 🤪.
I have just got a second hand pto flail mower and have been looking through various manuals for some information - what is the purpose of the "Hook" that is clipped onto the frame?
@@rw5208 hi, the clip is to hold the PTO shaft up and out the way. They’re terrible, I remove them normally as they don’t work, and normally crack the PTO guard. I now just use the chain of the PTO to keep the shaft from touching the floor

That’s good to hear! You’ll need to get yourself some weights for the front of it! Keep me updated with your process, would be good to hear
