Thank you very much! I did the same thing when I started my build as well - I should've counted how many videos I watched.....it'd probably be depressing. lol
@@TyEichele haha. Yes, I remember that feeling. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but, I cannot resist laying down on freshly laid carpet. Imagine a making snow angels, but on a fresh carpet! Lol
Thought about it actually! But figured this way people over in the bar area could see the screen as well, like if watching a football game for example. But I really wanted the space under the steps to be used, which is why it ended up where it is now.
interesting choice of seating. I like it. I will say, that after having motorized seats in our family room... I can easily not have motorized seats in the basement... though my mind changes often so that's not set in stone either LOL
Thanks! We went back and forth also and decided to save the money and get manual seats. Less parts to break or things to go wrong with them also. We might get the middle armrests that slide in between the seats to turn the loveseats into individual seats as an option someday as well.
Yes we are really enjoying them so far. They are comfortable and fit in our space very nicely. I have no regrets going with these seats. We did upgrade to the full leather, as the bonded stuff typically doesn't last as long. Otherwise - so far so good!
@VIkas Panwar The seats can be attached to each other, but they do not come with the bolts or hardware to do it. I do believe that the holes are already there in the frame, so it would be super easy to connect them to each other, which I might do as well with some simple bolts. But I haven't noticed any issues with them not being attached. Mine are on carpet and don't really slide easily.
Hi quick question regarding the seats. Are the recline options limited to only a few choices or can you tilt back as far as you want? I know some manuals offer only 3 seating positions. I want to be able to incrementally lean back and stop at any point. Thanks in advance and great job with the basement!
Yes, you can lean back and stop it at any point you want too. There are no 'set' stop points asking the way. Hope this helps, if not let me know! And thanks for watching 👍
Beautiful set up bro!! Great job. Hope you enjoy your new home theater.
Thank you very much!
The room is coming along.
Yes it's getting very exciting! Thanks for watching
Get series of build videos mate! Building my own home cinema so great to see other projects!

Looking good
Thanks!
Very nice! I bet that carpet makes it feel much more finished. :-)
Thanks! Absolutely it does! It's amazing how it really transformed the area. It's weird not having to wear shoes down there anymore 😂

I'm surprised you didn't place the screen on the side where the seats are, but looks good either way.

Love the carpet and pad choices. Your design and execution are totally on point. Thanks for sharing. ❤🔥❤🔥
And thank you for watching! I appreciate your kind words 👍
Really Nice looking set up!!!
What color paint are you using on the back wall? Looks like a dark blue with purple tint in it. Thanks 😊 love it 👀
Thank you very much! The paint is Sherwin Williams called Cyberspace. Here is a video I did on it: th-cam.com/video/NOtIMv4fE3o/w-d-xo.html
Your so close! Looks amazing you’re going to have a lot fun in that area.
Thanks! Yes we are super excited - been a long 8 months of work but getting so close now! It'll be worth it soon - and just in time for winter 😁
How well your HT octane seats going so far ? Are they comfortable enough ? Thanks for sharing your experience.

@@TyEichele great to know. Thanks for the quick response!
nice carpet, where did you get it from?
A local carpet store. I can't remember the details but I say the name and brand of it in the video.
