I like this idea :) could this be a new series?

Using products that aren't design or marketed towards wavy/curly hair? I like it. 😁 I'll see what I can do.

Yes please :) maybe add in some shampoos and conditioners? I know you don’t usually review those.

Your hair looks really good! How did your hair feel on day 2 and onwards? Also worth noting alot of creams marketed for blowouts also work really well as a curl cream! Could be fun to experiment with like mousses if you make it a new series another comment mentioned!

It really good. I had no issues with the feeling of this one. I hadn't thought about that. I'll have to look into some various products like blow out creams. Thanks for the recommendation.

Thank you for the review of this product, Lina 🙏 l think l will give it a try 😊 Can it be paired with any styling cream, gel?

I haven't had a chance to really experiment with it, but I definitely think you could. I bet you could scrunch this on at the end of just about any routine. I'll have to try it out though. And I definitely intend to. I'm planning on posting an updated styling routine in about two weeks and I was going to pair this with some other things, so hopefully that'll be a helpful video. ☺️

I did try that mousse a couple years ago. I thought it was pretty good, too. I was glad to see you were giving it a try. A trim always bring life to our curls. How did you do it? Do you have a video of how you cut your hair? I've been doing curl by curl trims. I just don't know how to shape it.

I was definitely pleasantly surprised! I'll definitely be using it more going forward.
I did do more of a curl by curl cut. Unfortunately I didn't film it and I don't have a video on it yet. I definitely need to. I know it can be a little intimidating. I think it helps to already have a general shape that you like. Then you're mostly just bringing it back to the shape you shape you already like. That's what I did. I went through curl by curl and trimmed the ones that were sitting weird. But I'll try to remember to make a video on it next time I need a reshaping. ☺️

@@Linas_lovelylocks Yeah, I think I need to go to a hair dresser & get it shaped. I've seen a lot of TH-camrs will do the unicorn, double unicorn, pigtails, butterfly or the Brando cut, but I don't think any of those will give me the shape or style I like. I want very little layers, maybe just on the top, because I think curls do better when they are not cut up. I like the u shape & a little bit of face framing pieces.

Yeah all of the DIY cuts really depend on your hair type. I would suggest a stylist to help you get the shape you want. ☺️
