I loved when you pulled out the scissors. I had a clump that was dangly and stretched out and always drawing attention to itself and I pulled out the scissors too.
🤣🤣 I'm glad you liked that. I considered cutting it out, but I thought it was helpful to keep in. But its not an uncommon thing for me to do 🤣 I'm glad I'm not alone
Looking good, Lina! I have the Bounce Curl brush and do use it occasionally. I have 2b-3a high density, medium porosity hair that a couple of inches past my shoulders. The brush works well, but I found that I prefer the definition of the Denman brush. Thanks for the sectioning info-I really struggle with that part of styling. You make it look so easy that I’m hopeful that I can replicate that step.
Thank you! I keep meaning to go back and re-try the denman brush. It's been a long time since I pulled it out. I'll have to add that to my things to do. ☺️ And I hope thst the explanation of sectioning helped. Hopefully it works well for you. 💕
You cutting the pieces of your hair gave me life because I do it all the time especially when I'm in need of a shape up 😅. Just as a styling technique have you ever tried pincurls on problematic sections? I find it works super well if I have an event and want my hair to look more cohesive. I was intrigued when I saw Sophie try that technique on her friend (i thought they were sisters lol) and made me want to try that brush styling. Also the dogs at the end are so freaking cute!!!
Lol I'm glad I'm not the only one 😂 sometimes a piece just needs to go. It's been a while, but I have trued pin curls before. Definitely a good way to go if you need some pieces to look good. Maybe I should try it out again. I have noticed a ton of difference in root definition with the dipping down. At least not for my type of hair. But it can't hurt and doesn't add much time. So why not. And thank you ☺️ I was so proud of my older dog. She did so good. And the two of them sleeping together was just so precious. They're the best. 💕
Wow! Your curls look great on day 2. Mine doesn't look that good. Guess maybe the products. You have gorgeous hair. I'm waiting for my brush today , will revisit your video to try get those results. Thank you❤
I also have high desnity, fine, low porosity hair.... in regards to not using leave in conditioner, I don't understand why we wouldn't want MORE moisture. Could you explain?
Thanks for the question! If your hair is feeling dry, then a leave in is fine. I tend to prefer using a cream, because they give extra benefits, like curl enhancement. And using both a cream and leave in conditioner on low porosity hair can pretty easily lead to moisture overload. Too much moisture on the hair can cause it to get frizzy and limp and not hold it's shape well. I do have another video where I go more in depth as to whether or not you should use a leave in conditioner if you're curious. I'll link it below. I'd go based on your own experience. I've just found from experience and from what I've heard others with similar hair say that a leave in conditioner, once you hair is healthy, isn't really necessary. I hope that helps! th-cam.com/video/-0-5ko6ZqM0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=A4kmGf399t5N994B
I just received my brush and your styling method is perfect for me! Larger sections=less time. Thank you!
I'm so glad I could be of help! ☺️
Thanks for this! I love how easy you made sectioning because that's always been a nightmare for me! Will definitely be trying your method. 😊
I hope it helps ☺️💕
