I really appreciate that you did this video. I am using Fyrite for the first time to measure my furnace C02. Seeing the video makes me realize how simple this is to use and saved m alot of time studying the manual.
Very helpful and your demonstration utilizing your own breath was a clever way to make the point, however, we work in a virus isolation laboratory and will use the Fyrite to confirm the digital reading of 5% CO2 for the cell culture incubators; inserting the tube from a piece of equipment in your mouth in our BSL-3 laboratory would be a no-go right from the start. Although when I first started working in the lab in 1985, multiple procedures involved mouth-pipetting. Those procedures were all phased out by the late 80's in all laboratories dealing with infectious disease.
Thanks for your video our technicians have been keeping the Analyzer in its case laying flat in a drawer. Will now have it stored upright so as not to corrode the analyzer because it cost us $750 which did not include shipping and tax
I have one of those testers. It was left in my house by the previous owner. I have no use for it and want to get rid of it. Don't know what it's worth. It looks in good condition. Leave a comment if you know someone who would be interested in this. I'm in Montreal QC. I will put it on Kijiji soon.
