No worries, this one in the video does have the brass inserts yes. It is an excellent guitar. It's a true 'players' guitar i.e. very comfortable and all the physical design seems to have been tailored to that goal. I find the neck profile and the body contouring just spot on. I have my Fender, Gibson etc but this is the one I play most... Well this and funnily enough my Ibanez RG which is really really different to this, but is equally comfortable... if you like that sort of thing! I think you'll enjoy the PRS loads if you go for it. I won't ever be selling mine. Definitely a keeper.

I can only talk of my experience. I have two more Pacifica's and they all have that same noise, but they are great guitars anyway. It's not a deal breaker by any means and not something I even noticed before doing the video. It does not impact day to day playing. It's got that kind of single coil hum (despite the humbucker). There's some shielding/grounding stuff going on in these which is fixable without loads of effort I'm sure. The Yamaha is still a top cheap strat option. At some point I'll get round to identifying what's causing the issue. It's not the end of the world and I rate them highly... hence I own x3 of them. Thanks for watching and keep rocking!

Yes, it's PRS SE Paul's guitar. All 3 of these guitars are absolutely brilliant. It really depends on what you gravitate towards most and what style you like. They are some of the top guitars in their price bracket. @appetiteforguitar Watched the full vid twice. Great guitar. That finish is coming across as midnight blue, almost black. Love it, I have a Strat that color. I noted to another viewer that your Epi LP was made in China in Nov of '14. I have a two Chinese Epi LPs and two Specials, one with P90s. They're all very good.

You need an audio interface to go between ur phone and the pedal, something like the Joyo Momix Cab.

The Yamaha is definitely a cool guitar. If it's the one you reach for, that says something. I just got another one as backup and for alternate tunings... but it's strangely not the same. If your guitar is new I would personally ask for a refund. This is a pretty cheap used guitar in the video, so I was happy to experiment. It has worked and the neck is solid. But a brand new guitar should not come to you like this. Best of luck and keep rockin'

Ah good question. From memory (this video is a couple of years old now), I think this one had a Seymour Duncan pup in it in the bridge position - that's the braided wiring. The original Epi Slash from a few years ago did come with them. Not the latest versions. Everything else is stock I believe i.e. orange drop capacitors etc is how it comes. Very very nice guitar. I have bought another one since which is completely stock and it's a beauty and the internals are high quality. I'll get a deep dive review up when I can - hopefully soon!

I definitely like the amp and Line 6 is a good brand from my experience. This specific amp just keeps on switching on FX randomly by itself... I'd start playing clean then after a few moments some other FX started getting introduced in the mix without pressing anything. Programming everything to clean can help a bit and it can behave, hence I found the best option to be external pedals. I was keen to underline in the video that it is pretty old and might have gone a bit weird... Sounds good though. I still like it and it's well worth investigating. Nice amp for not much money these days.

Yeah I'm about to get one cuz other practice amp broke , and I'm legit autistic, so I know I'll figure out a good tone lol most people won't take the time to really dial in a mf tho on strength , and make an opinion .

Ah, well you need to get your timing spot on to make the drums loop. It takes practice. It doesn't auto sync. When you get the timing it's very satisfying. Initially it is hard, but once you get the feel you should be able to do it as you want in my experience....

Sadly no reverb on the amp. It's coming from the Donner. Nice amp with ext. Fx plugged in.

Ah, the feedback is a strange one. It feels like mine had a little bit of a life of it's own and possibly getting older it gets some strange behaviours over time. I like the amp a lot though strangely. For all it's quirks it sounds good. The quirks give it character :)!

Ah awesome! Please let me know how it goes. I'm about to put the new set I bought onto my 90s Epi Std too... Eurgh, I've been saying that to myself for the last couple of days, but life gets in the way. I just need to shut myself in a room for a few hours away from all distractions and get it done.
