Nice! I need to try those guitars out. I (not so) secretly love my Grote Les Paul too. It's not without flaws but they're easy fixes. Full review focused on the Grote here if you're interested: th-cam.com/video/GmzkncWLlAw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=K51h5LOMX4GFLISS
Nice, let me know when you post it! The Grote is surprisingly good, and can be great... if you have the time and patience to do a few tweaks to it. I'll never sell this one. Beautiful and lovely sounding/playing guitar.
They're certainly very different. I'm very happy with both and the Grote does sound really good to me too. This particular Gibson is much brighter and very clear in tone, where the Grote is warm and full. I really don't believe this specific Grote has single coils, but some people might have gotten unlucky.
Currently have a Grote 335 in cherry, also the full hollow no cutaway in cherry and a Tele style semi hollow. Love em all.
!

thanks for sharing. Grote is tempting indeed.
Much appreciated, glad you enjoyed it. I've got a 1 year update coming up on the Grote - I made some tweaks to it...
I just bought a Grote Semi Hollow Tele to review. When you think about price the affordable market gets you to think😎🤙
