In my opinion mirch's hydra seal is the better product. Better gloss and better beading.
Yeah I've used both and really liked both. Mirchs products are always impressive
Hey mate not sure if you're still reading comments on this. Looking to polish my car the same way as this, for the next step for protection what would that be?
Hey mate if going to all this effort of machine polishing I'd 100% reccomend finishing off with a ceramic coating
I have a gerni pressure washer and I only use about half a cap full of Bowden's green snow foam and then fill the snow foam container to the brim with water. Due to the high pressure of the gerni even on the lowest setting it blows it out in a thick foam looking more like whipped cream. After hand washing my car and rinsing it off I use a garden leaf blower to blow the water out of all the nooks and crevice's ready to apply polish which I do every time I wash the car. At 15 years old people still think it looks brand new.
I got the turtle wax one on sale for $19 in nz gonna try it and compare to darkside (have only been using darkside for tyre dressing)
I see Gyeon as being the best. Not sure what you are looking at lol.
Definitely stick with the gyeon if that's what you like the look of. I do these tests to find out which I prefer and film them so others can watch and decide for themselves without having to buy multiple products
I ❤❤❤❤ Lithium Color Crush!!! It's made my car's paint glossier than any other detailer!!! Even shines more on my car than the Beadmaker and Dreamaker combo from P&S!! I was shocked by that to say the least. The car in this video looks AMAZING!!! Thanks for posting!!!
Still one of my t favourite products, it really does look amazing
Would love to send you a new “wax” that has not hit the market yet. Would love to send you a sample. Newly invented 1 year ago will be hitting the market soon. Please let me know if you would like a sample.
If you want to send it i can test it
@ can do! What’s your email?
Carpro brand has the cheapest price for ceramic coating product in my country so thats my go to for coating.
It's good to know they're so affordable, Carpro is great.
Hi, for some reason I can't search your channel on my phone. Love your content. Do you have any polish or ceramic polish reviews? More specifically hand polishing
No, sorry only a machine polishing video
Going to give this a go instead of using carpro reload for many years 👍🏻🇦🇺😎
Same as paint gloss from P&S?
I get 6 weeks out of Bowdens sweet rubber without reapplying prior to the 6 week mark. Not as dark but rather a sheen finish at 6 weeks but the hydrophobic is still there. Holden Vf commodore daily driver
Yeah I've found sweet rubber does last well just depends on weather and amount of driving
@ spot on I am about to top my sweet rubber up this weekend the tyres still have protection and some shine still. Also love the delicious non edible smell.
Exceptional amount of effort mate. Much appreciated 👍
Thanks mate
wait! "Platinum Potions Body Coat" website says to dry immediately after... will i be okay just rinsing with my pressure washer then blow drying? Will I get streaking?
Yeah I'd stick with their directions, usually not the best idea to blow dry after using these type of products. As I was just doing a small area its easier to ensure no smearing or any other issues but for an entire car I'd towel dry after use
bro, which one do u recommend - wet dreams or happy ending ? please advise. thanks.
Happy ending is easier to do a ful car as its just foamed on But really both work great
Do you hand wash every time? Ohh and one tip - always wash from the top down. Saves time, saves water :).
Yes i do
Martinez Michael Thomas Melissa Hall Shirley
It’s their version of CarPro Descale. It’s an acidic wash.
Good to know I just bought a bottle of descale
Carpro Descale is the one for water spotting, Carpro lift is same as Bowdens mega snow foam. Acid vs Alkaline.
Great video mate
Now this looks like the sort of wash i need for my daily
Your closing comments regarding the pressure washer, I did a wall mount last year and its one of the best things I have done in the garage. Yes, it's a lot of messing about piecing it all together, organizing a plumber and electrician, but the end result is pure convenience! I have some sort videos of the setup on my channel if you are interested, reach out if you want some advice!
Surely you did not require a plumber and electrician for that. What a tremendous waste of money. Learn to go basic things yourself.
@@AnthonySarino-f7n It's illegal to do electrical and plumbing work in Australia without a license, so you must use a licensed professional. So, it's not a waste of money if I get what I wanted. In any case, perhaps make sure you use correct grammar and spelling when taking pot shots at other people.
Thanks mate I'll definitely check your videos out tonight
@@dfbsgarage Mate just because it's illegal doesn't mean 99% of the population isn't doing it. It's also illegal to go above the speed limit. Do you also call an electrician to change your light bulb? And a plumber to flush the toilet for you? I typo'd do for go, at 1 in the morning. I guarantee I am smarter than you and I have the credentials to prove it. My ATAR was 97.30, what was yours?
Great video I’ve got some stubborn water spots on my roof think I need to get a bottle of this to try out now
Hi.great video.cant wait to try this out.just wanted to ask what hose is connected to your ryobi pressure washer as I have e the same machine and looking for a longer hose.thanks.
Thanks, it's the ryobi longer hose they used to sell at bunnings, unsure if it's still available now. If i were upgrading I'd get an uberflex ect and adapters to suit
Mate your garage floor whats the name of the product u used on the floor an were did u get it from
hey mate they're called race deck tiles and i bought them used off someone closing their detailing business. if you search garage tiles you'll be able to find a few sellers of different brands of them.
That's excellent to know, I'd imagine for occasional use only on ceramic coating? I'm just wondering if you are able to do an instructional video on polishing by machine for the very first time? I've hand polished but am overwhelmed by the specifics of machine polishing and would learn so much from you as you explain so carefully 😊😊😊
Hey Claudia I did this video a few years ago when I first got the test panel so hopefully you find it helpful th-cam.com/video/q4sDdq6eAAQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=uzp2thHcn1K4xi8y
@@EvolvedDetails thanks heaps, excellent video and it really helps 😊. How often and how do you clean the pads if you're doing a whole car?
I make sure i have a few on hand at least 4. After each panel or two i will pressure rinse them out and then pop in the washing machine on spin cycle
@@EvolvedDetails Wooohoooo that sounds really simple, thank you so much for your excellent help and I'm now starting to get a little excited about polishing the cars!!!
Might be a good occasional interim wash for black cars with water spots, by the way black is the worst colour for company cars lol
Yeah I'll be buying 5 litres of it asap as since filming this video they've released it. Black wasn't the first choice at all but it was 4k cheaper as nobody seemed to want black and the dealer wanted it gone so I thought it was worth grabbing
@@EvolvedDetails since youre a detailer why not black company cars look better just harder to maintain
I'm not a detailer anymore just a hobbyist these days. I still love it which is why I have the detailing channel though
@@EvolvedDetails thats fair. My point is that you know how to keep a vehicle clean which comes in handy
The more I read about the product the more uses I can see for it. I'm going to pop down the SCA and pick up a bottle. I'd say this product will be great as a 3 month wash on darker coloured, ceramic coated vehicles. (Gentle water spot removal). Noice.
Honestly shocked me how much I liked it and I'm really only scratching the surface on what it's uses are but even still it's going to become a favourite for me
Only a couple minutes in. So is this slightly acidic then? I'll hit BOs website to do some reading. Thanks again J. 😁👍 EDIT. Just read BOs website. It is acidic. "Lower pH" Unfortunately it does not state the exact pH. Would love to know the lower pH level to compare it to CarPro Descale. Seems acid wash soaps are not as common as alkaline wash soaps. We know the reasons, but people who know like the choices for different applications in the vehicle we detail.
Can I ask why the exact pH number is important?
@@Disciple11it helps assist the user of the product, to know how they can use and apply the product.
@@Ian_P in what way specifically?
@@Disciple11 okay. Let's say you have several wash soaps that are low, high, or neutral pH. Knowing the exact pH helps me to determine how I can use the wash soap. For example. (and I know this is what you're after... but you already know this as you detail too right? So I'll assume you're testing me...) Nv SNOW+ has a pH of 8.1 (alkaline). Mirch Decon has a pH of 9.5. Out of these 2 products I can use my noggin to determine how and which one to use on any given vehicle. Example ... I'd use NV Snow + on a new car for a paint correction/coating prep. I'd use Mirch Decon on a very grubbing, heavily soiled vehicle. I could also use it to strip an existing sealant off a vehicle. There are so many ways one can use these products once you know their pH make up. Hope that helps.
@@Disciple11 coz if you have waxes or sealants on your car it can strip it off if its not ph neutral
why does the water look so dirty
I'm not sure
Looks like a good product, Doubt I would use it on my cars though. Herhaps heavier applications such as 4WD's would get more use though.
Great off the shelf tyre cleaner that's worth keeping on the shelf, especially if bought during a sale imo
Bilt hamber
Looks like I'll be sticking with Adams
Adams is great just not easy to get here in Australia at a decent price
Certainly looks a decent product (brand not available in the UK though).
I wonder if they'll ever look to sell over there? Pretty saturated market already i guess though
Tried this and it's excellent, I'll try it without agitation next time cos that would be a dream come true if it works pretty well 😊
Shine Supply Wise Guy is somthing you should try if you are looking for a tyre cleaner it can strip all the gunk off and can water it down to make it cost nott alot of money at all
Have used it and liked it alot too
Nice vid. Love a comparison with Mirch Grime off. It's my go to tyre cleaner. The wash looks good, nice to have a lower pH local made car wash I can get at a retail store. Been using the gyeon restart which is good. Keen to give them both a try.
Yeah I'll likely make a comparison video against grime off soon
BO Wheely clean for me. Safe product. Works well
I've put a layer of gliss over my CQ UK and keep it topped up with reload after each wash. Curious as to how long it will last.
It’s a fantastic product. Love it JS
Surprising as I'm liking the turtle wax on my own car at the moment
I like the bowdens as I will redo it every week or 2 anyway
I think I'll buy that mirch but I really don't like shiny tyres so hopefully it's not much for me
Mirch as a brand continues to impress, wow 😊. Your videos are really informative and also relaxing on a Saturday morning with a cup of coffee 🥰
Yeah mirch still looks the best and is cheapest so win win
great video, loved that you showedthe products you're using, a huge help for someone looking the get started
Can't wait for the weekend to try this, thank you 😊😊😊
Thank you Jackson, it's a pretty unique formula we created here in wanting to make something very easy to use, long-lasting, gives a noticeable level of depth and shine and importantly it's suitable for easy protection in the diverse local conditions we have here in Oz. I'm glad to hear you enjoy using it and took notice of the shine that next day once cured too! Yes, we found it's a great topper for professionally coated cars, which we tested quite extensively before stating that on the bottle, and still continues to be some 4+ years on since we released this one. We are not ones for claims on anything we have that is not genuinely tested and true. We have the in-house chemist and detailing team working on a new updated version currently too, which always takes a good amount of time to develop and formulate till we are happy to bottle and release. It's still a little while off but there are some pretty nice upgrades in the works. :) - Dan PS - It's also good on PPF , with a few of the modern cars we have that use different brand films giving fantastic results and professional installers we know have been using it as their product of choice for this too.
If i apply the can coat , how long would i have to wait for the car to get wet ?
24 hours is generally the best bet
is there any expiry date for this product? I bought it 10 years ago havent got the chance to use until now
I'm thinking do a very thorough shake of the bottle and then do a small test spot someone not as obvious. But I'd assume it will still be OK to use
@@EvolvedDetails okay, thanks for the reply
