I grabbed the Gyeon and did my windows so far, waiting for a good not too hot day for the rest of my truck. I'm extra surprised at how easy it is to work with and how little you really need to use it correct. A+ product
Great test, for anyone interested I use Adams Graphene Ceramic Spray coating which is a similar product to these ones (same Category). It is more stout then hybrid paint coating which I tried and Fusso Coat which I also tried.
Carpro definitely the best imo, but i alrdy bought fusso coat and Speed&Barrier (for maintenance) year ago, and still have a big bucket... will definitely switch to carpro when my fusso coat finish... not sure how many year to the end haha
I'd like to and have McKee's here also which I've been using a bit. I don't know how I'd do a video on them comparing though but maybe will just so a video on the McKee's soon
Thanks for such a lengthy test. What do you think the reason for Fusso failing the way it has? If it was my test, id blame user error. But you did a proper reset of the panel. Just interested. Cheers again
It's likely application error since it failed in some sections even though I was quite careful, so kind of goes to show it's not going to be a consistent product to use imo
Thanks for the update on this! What’s the slickness of Cquartz lite compared to CanCoat Evo? I know that Cancoat isn’t slick at all and quite grabby, so I’m curious if Cquartz lite is not as grabby. Much appreciated
So I retested the slickness a few months back and it seems they all lost their slickness so I'd say it's a less important selling point and best off using a slicker topper if slickness is something you want
Cquartz lite much better in durability than Gyeon Can coat .I have tested on my daily Car . Can coat sucks after 3 month .Performance from Can coat after 3 month is 40 -50 % Carpro lite after 3 month is 70-90 % performance
Ohhh yeah the test still going strong! :) the longest durability test of them all! Dude you rule :) Thank you for your hard work on this! Cheers!
Damn Gyeon hang in there! 🤣
Yep still going strong haha
A water spot remover might unclog them too. Interesting. Thanks for sticking with this for 11 months.
Yeah worth a try for sure
@@EvolvedDetailswould water spot remover impact the coatings at all?
@@claudiadavies5110not at all negatively. It always brings back the hydrophobic properties if there are any to bring back.
CarPro looking good on the panel, redoing my coating in May and have picked up UK3.0
UK is a great coating, I have it on both Evos and over 3 years on one of them

Exceptional amount of effort mate. Much appreciated 👍
Thanks mate
mate great video just like normal may be hit them with carpro LIFT or DESCALE see if that brings them back even better
I have no descale but have some lift here

I've heard it's a great product unfortunately adams isn't as available here
Thanks for the test! I did UK 3.0 once and it was a pain the ass so I don't like Cquartz Lite
Yeah I found it easy but it can always be down to the climate where it's applied I guess.
Great video and series. At 12 months, I would be interested to see if a topper for these, say wet coat etc, would help them out?
I think it would I might try some on the two failing ones but a normal spray like gyeon ceramic detailer maybe
Algorithm engaged 👍
You're a legend Jethro

Love your videos. Are you gonna be doing a test on waterless washes. I just bought the McKee's 914. I like it and I'm just a weekend warrior

i have tryed gyeon can coat its nice and easy to use but in tempted to try out car pro lite as it seems its sertonly powering past 6 months 💪
Yeah I think it's worth the trickier application and cost is pretty similar so worth trying it
Bring on the 12 months, double the promised life of the carpro which is crazy
Yep very impressive for sure

Which is easier to apply and wipe off, Carpro CQ Lite or Gyeon CanCoat Evo? Thanks great video series
I think the gyeon had the easier application to me
Great testing
Thanks mate

@@EvolvedDetails great to know, Thank you mate!
Hey mate let me know if you would like to test any armour detail supply products as I have them all and im in Melbourne
I'd definitely be keen to try some but I'm in QLD so a little far away unfortunately.
I might buy a few soon though to try out

Hey mate yep sorry had a things going on so haven't had a chance to edit but will have the 1 year video out next week for sure
For the price...........Can coat all the way!!!
Yeah really can't go wrong with it
