I was tossing up between using this or the mirch during this video but decided the meguiars as I has it written down to film first. The mirch will be in my next test series though
Really good stuff that i keep coming back to. Ive tried other ones that leave behind a streaky mess, and right in the trash they go. This definitely darkens the paint a tad being that its a thinned out version of Meguiars sealant. Love it..😎👍
I think I've already told you, but as a top coat I prefer to use Meguiar's M799 which is more concentrated!. On bare paint they are the same, but on ceramic coating, M799 is more resistant. This way it sticks more firmly. With superb softness, slipperiness and super hydrophobic. Meguiar's hybrid ceramic detailer I believe it's a 1:3 version of M799. The only negative point of M799 is the price! I find it relatively expensive. Between 65 and 70€ in Europe 😱 thank you taxes. By the way, superb Mitsubishi👍
If you compare this with the Turtle Hybrid Solutions Ceramic spray (silver battle not black one) you will find the turtle one is slicker and longer lasting when double layered (24 hours between coats)
I did put turtle wax product up against the meguiars equivalent in one of my earlier series. This one is the topper/ detailer not the full on spray sealant so not really a fair comparison imo
This car is clean... I'm planning on wiping car down with this stuff, throughout the day when go for errands... The car has been washed, clayed, polished & waxed... Example... When drop someone off at mall & I'm waiting for them to come out, I'll wipe whole car down real quickly to remove any road & environment dust... Whole car or suv can be done in under 10 mins; because with frequent & often wipes, car is really slick & for most part clean... When take them somewhere else & maybe drove 10 to 20 miles & dropped them off, I'll wipe it again... Very little mist is needed because again car is super clean & protected, with only environment dust from driving & road... 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 Is it ok for rubber around door windows?
@EvolvedDetails It is ( clean & well taken care of ) Plus once get know-how & practice & routine down, it's very simple, easy, efficient & extremely quick... And Thanks to You & Others Like Yourself Who Take Time, Effort, Energy & Resources To Make These Videos & Share With World, So People Like Myself Can Learn, Comprehend, Understand & Go Practice & Perfect Technic, Methods & Skill... I Watch So Many Videos & It Shortens Learning Curve & Also Saves Time From Having To Undo Something or Worst, Prevents Mistakes That Can Be Costly To Remedy... Thank You Again... Truly Appreciate It... 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 I've Gone Totally Waterless... I'm Never Going To Personally Wash My Car Ever Again With Water... And When Car Does Need More Thorough Wash I'll Take it To My Preferred Detailer & They Use Stream... I Had Never Seen It Before.... I Thought Steam Would Definitely Ruin, Damaged & Reck Not The Ceramic Coats, but Also The Clear Coat & Paint... But Watching my Detailer Wash Car With The Steamer & Practically No Water Running Off Nor Dripping On The Floor Blew My Mind... To Top it Off... My Other Car which They Had Just Completed Adding Two Ceramic Coats & Had Cured 12 hrs & was Going To Stay There And Cure Another 24 hrs was Parked In Adjacent Bay... 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 Even More Incredible, When I Asked Them isn't Steam Too Hot & Will Damage The Coating & Clear Coat & Paint? They Said: No... And To Prove Their Point They Pointed The Nozzle at Their Arm While Steam Was Coming Out & It Did Not Burn Them...
Off topic, but I wanted to know if you've used the Mirch ceramic detailer and what's your honest opinion on it. I've been eyeing it and would like some input.
No I just moved my car into the garage and out of the way once I had reversed the red one out then that way I could have the red one in the middle of the driveway so I could walk around (the back one had been sitting on the other side when I reversed out)
How much protection or it only a detailer? Do I need this if use Bowdens Wet Dreams and Boss Gloss? Do you know how this is different to Meguairs Hybrid Ceramic Wax? Thx for your video
This is just a ceramic detailer or "topper" for your base protection, it's suggested you use this on top of meguiars hybrid ceramic wax but can also use on any other coating or sealant as a topper
I think Meguiars do a few brilliant products and also some rubbish products. The hybrid ceramic range is good but pricing now of Meguiars they should be careful as they pricing them selfs out the market very expensive now to the competition. We’re I go shelf’s always full unless discount on then it sells which tell u a lot . In uk they are trying to sell there hybrid paint coating for £75 in our Halfords I have used and a brilliant product but that is a massive price when u can get a ceramic 3 yr coating for much less if u shop around
Yeah I'd completely agree with everything you said. I know here we get regular 30% off sales at one of the three big automotive retail stores so it makes the prices a little more acceptable but at full price they are a little high
There is no before and after comparison so this video doesn't really highlight any benefit of the product. Need to show an objective fact, rather than personal subjective observation.
I have a test series with this product against others that will show all you would need. I did multiple video's over multiple weeks and even applied on both a ceramic coating to test its topping ability and on bare paint to see how long it will really last and if I masks the coating as it begins to wear off
@@megaruhe6296@megaruhe6296 i didnt feel the need to like his comment because he clearly didn't watch the video and just made that comment which wasn't constructive. If he watched he'd have heard me say I have previously used this product on the channel in a test against other products to see how it lasts and looks
I havent tried this one, but have plenty of Mirch Ceramic Detailer to get through. That works really well. Thank 👍😁you.
I was tossing up between using this or the mirch during this video but decided the meguiars as I has it written down to film first.
The mirch will be in my next test series though
I think it’s extremely good!
Great as a topper and drying aid after their excellent Hybrid Paint Coating
Agreed a solid topper and even gives about a month's base protection
Really good stuff that i keep coming back to. Ive tried other ones that leave behind a streaky mess, and right in the trash they go.

It really is a great and underrated product
I used this religiously but switched to the repco ceramic version. Just as good for a quarter of the price!
Wonderful job and video, as usual. Really constructive, especially for detailers and enthusiasts!
Thanks for the professionalism , please keep it up.
Thanks so much really appreciate the kind words
I've tried many detail sprays ans this one to me is the easiest to work with.
Its very underrated for sure
I've seen the product on a store shelf and didn't really consider it. Going to pick some up. Thanks!
Let me know what you think if you end up getting some

Yeah you have ajd I do plan to get some just harder to get here in Australia but I'll eventually add it to the shelves for sure
Bought this after your last series and have used it a bunch great stuff
Good to hear youve been liking it
Waxmode did some good videos on this showing how well it worked to revive coatings.
I have seen some of his videos and loved them will have to find the meguiars one now
Wow, there seems to be no swirl marks in your paint at all. Well done!!
Thanks mate, there is a few but I did do a full paint correction around 3 years ago and have tried to keep it swirl free since
Car looks insane when it rolled out of the garage
Haha yeah I couldn't believe how crazy the paint looked in that clip
Far out, that looks sensational!!
It really does
I think the meguiars hybrid range is really good
Yeah I've had pretty good results with the 3 I've tried so for sure can reccomend them

Sounds like a very well looked after car, yeah I've found it works well on rubber

I have some but haven't used it yet, it will be in my next quick detailer comparison series though
That red is so nice
I think so too
So did you redo it once it was out of the garage? I noticed a gap in the video and then another car in the garage.
No I just moved my car into the garage and out of the way once I had reversed the red one out then that way I could have the red one in the middle of the driveway so I could walk around (the back one had been sitting on the other side when I reversed out)
Replied from my other account accidentally but yes what I said above haha

I just used this as my only coat, and use it monthly…works great👍Do I need to go back, and use the ceramic wax
Thank you. 👍😁
Thanks Ian
Wow ❤
Thanks
Can it be used as a drying agent also?
Definitely could although it would make the drying towel become hydrophobic if you didn't wash it immediately and may still cause it to anyway

The hybrid paint coating sells for 20 us dollars at an outlet store! I bought 10 of them. Also ebay they sell around 30
