Thats it, like I've seen it in 2018
Tourist like you that leaves trashes everywhere and then go around and post about it. Please get off your high horse, hypocrite😡🤯😫
I have just spent 3 weeks in the mountains of far north Vietnam and witnessed first hand trash being dumped recklessly everywhere we went. It simply gets flushed into the streams and rivers and makes it's way to the ocean. Was not impressed and unfortunately it's not a good look for a country trying to forge a tourism industry.
They’ve recently implemented a no plastic rule. At least the trip I was on checked your bags for plastic water bottles before getting on the boat. Glass or metal were allowed. But Ha Long Bay to me was overrated just because of how crowded everything was. Islands around Phuket were much nicer in my opinion
Lovely scenery
Summer 2023 we were close by, in Hanoi and Ninh Binh, Vietnam (where they filmed the movie Avatar) there was so much air pollution that we couldn‘t even see the mountains straight ahead of us (400 m distance). This was outdoors. At times we even had to wear breathing masks because of the industrial stink. This lasted for a week, then we left, early than planned. Food was good though.
Would you recommend this particular hostel/tour company?
You should count yourselves as one of the “ANNOYING CROWD” and you shouldn’t go to a tourist attractions if you don’t like the crowds
So sad. That's special place
You are overrated 🤢
How about saying you'd like to start something to clean this place up instead of saying it's overrated
We visited halong bay last august and it was pretty much clean...didnt see that much trash....😮 or maybe after effect of flood/storm🙄
So sad to see what the tourism caused...
ok, calm down. Its not "heart breaking". Its gross. Big difference there, eco warrior.
Who watches your belongings when your in the water? Is this an issue 🤔
I’m nah Trang I was down a small lane and an old lady literally dumped her entire trash can into the beach and walked back upstairs…. The main trash for collection was about 20 meters away. Later that afternoon, we found the trash in the beach waves amongst swimmers
Bro went on the dirty season or rainy season when all the trash goes down to the bay🤫🤫
Man, as a Vietnamese girl that’s only been to Vietnam once, this just makes me so sad that people do this…
If the locals and authorities in Ha Long Bay don't want to protect it then they deserve not to have any tourists coming.
it's not clear why you were so happy about the potatoes and rice in the business lounge, everything is so bad with food in Toronto? it was possible to walk to the hotel that is at the airport to at least find out the prices
Ma'am Will October a good month to plan a trip ?
Sério que os locais daí estão deixando os turistas acabar com esse local, deixa não gente multa todos chama polícia desce o cacete em turista folgado que sai de casa pra fazer porquice nos lugares povo sem educação, todos que fazem isso parece que nunca tiveram mães
Awesome. Enjoy you two.❤
I’m in Vietnam for 30 days and I can tell the whole country is overrated and full of trash,I just finished 3000km road trip with scooter.Everything dirty, people don’t respect traffic lights,10 years old kids riding scooters etc… And if you want good quality food,it’s hard to get it and once you find good quality food-you will pay more than in Norway where I live…and we all know Norway is one of the most expensive countries in EU. Danang and Vinh were a bit better, but still far away from being developed.
I am right now visiting vietnam ,I visited ha long bay and there was no trash it was clean (I am from Pakistan btw)
And it is not overrated
Maybe it is better to keep for you the better places you find, so massive tourism will not leave places like this... thanks for this video anyway
The most annoying part is that the kids are following you around to beg for money, anyone knows what to do in that situation
I was there last year and saw no rubbish at all
Aw that's sad. We hope Vietnamese government take care of this, since this is one of their tourise attractions. Like what they did in PH, they shutdown boracay for months to restore
The only thing more annoying is having to listen to your drawl..ohh myy Goddd. Get an AI voiceover.
OMG I can't believe what I'm seeing. They should create a clean up tour where you can travel and help clean that up. I hope they start putting travelers in jail for this shit.
I just am in Halong Bay Right now it’s completely clean Yes water is not good for swim but there is no plastic and garbage right now
Went to Vietnam few years back and everything is thrown in the sea, shame it’s a great place but it’s just so dirty everywhere
Review 2 link?
Try looking in your own backyard…USA people crapping in the streets throughout San Fran, LA etc & your food is SHITE.
Does this airport have facility of wifi????
Yes WIFI is available at the airport.
Went ages ago, but seeing this today seem horrible
Was this part of a tour? Or did you rent a bike and ride around on your own
Your opinion is overrated. Finish your words, stop extending them like a pathetic child
Nice view and place..
You are part of the problem
No trash seen during my visit.
Current see currment see.
Super Women able to Preasis.
go to Palawan
do u have Instagram id ?
why you exposing negative side of vietnam? you hurting their pride as a vietnamis 😂😂
You should probably not share the better alternative with the public. It’s going to end up looking just as bad in a few years.
This reminds me of the US in the 60s and 70s where consciousness of not littering was not in the minds of the people. It takes generations of conditioning that people learn, this is not the case in Vietnam or china and many other countries as striviing economies to implement a good functioning wasteremoval and recycling system that works and a consciousness for a clean environment.
It’s true been there last week, the view is nice the experience is 30 plus ships embark down a stretch of river water route and run you through a stereo typical routine. First stop kayak or row boot excursion then back to ship food ( my son got food poisoning from small pieces of thawed frozen pizza served with a couple of French fries on a pineapple. Looked good but as vegetarian dish ?) Then farther down the route overnight net day back to start. The water and shores has plastic waste floating around everywhere. We had a time slot for swimming but I rejected the water was not very clean.
