Your stitching is beautiful, and the way you set and accomplish most of your goals is very inspiring. Your scoodie is so cute, and you are adorable in it, you definitely need one too. The Long Walk is an amazing story! I read it as part of rhe Bachman Books, which includes 4 early works of Stephen King under his pen name Richard Bachman. You should check it out and read them all if you liked The Long Walk. I do think that was my favorite, but they're all incredible and in the same mental state type vibe.

We need to Stream and Stitch Supernatural and do the Supernatural SAL by the Witchy Stitcher. 😂

Yes! Stitching makes me happy and is part of who I am. I wish society had a different view and value on our stitching. Maybe it will get there someday. But we as stitchers know, and value, and appreciate each others' accomplishments in stitching. That's why retreats and stitch friends are so fun lol. Happy stitching

Yes!!!! I’ve noticed the same “puffiness” with PTP fabrics. I feel like my stitches sink into it rather than sitting on top.

What a lovely video! thank you for sharing your beautiful work. When I get achy from needlework, I relocate.... If I've been sitting in a comfy chair or sofa, I move to a table or desk. Resting your project or arms occasionally seems to take some pressure off and require a new posture. Then same in reverse... move from my desk to a living room chair. Repetitive stress injuries are prevented by more frequent changes of position or motion. Best wishes! xoxo

Hi Cam, I am new to your channel and so happy to have found you from The Museum Stitcher. I am a 1 strand of floss convert. I find that my thread lays better and neater. Because of that, I stay away from purchasing 32 ct or 16 count. For certain projects I will use 14ct or 28ct with 2 strands, but my preference now is 36 count, 18 ct and 20 ct. We stitch what makes is happy.

Girl yes!!!! Hobbies that have been traditionally done by women are always dismissed as frivolous by most people. But just because what we do doesn't isn't generally "profitable" doesn't mean it has less value. Sagey/dusty purples and greens are my favorite colors, especially when combined. Another dark academia book that you might like (if you haven't already tried it) is Ninth House. It's set in modern day at Yale, but it's also a paranormal fantasy book so there's that fantastical element to it. I REALLY loved it. It's dark, and gritty, and really well written. The author is Leigh Bardugo (Shadow and Bone/Grishaverse author).

I had NO idea just how big the Blue Flower pattern was for Jingle Ball either...that one will NOT be finished before it. This is my first Jingle Ball and I got Bently Badger and the Gingerbread House too like a crazy person :)

I was at a leadership retreat and we had to share our bucket list item with our table. I shared my goal of having a gallery wall of my cross stitch pieces. They all were very interested and asked to see the pieces I was currently working on! I was very encouraged by their support of my hobby.

And so, yes, it is always a priority 😊 I’m not goal oriented in my stitching, however, I make a point to be stitching projects for myself, for my home and for family all the time. I stitch in hand too and my favorite is Mystic Fabric because they offer a Charles Craft Aida base and it is so nice and firm and easy to stitch in hand!! I don’t like trying to stitch in hand on soft Aida like PTP!

I 💯 agree with you on your cross stitch philosophy and honestly got a little choked up. 😂 I would love to hear your method for breaking down your bigger paper pattern WIPs into small goals. 😅 I’m not interested in charting patterns digitally just to get a stitch count but I agree that keeping track of stitches left and % complete is super satisfying. I try to buy pdfs only but you know that’s not always possible. Anyways, I would love to hear your thoughts in a future video! 🥰

Love your channel and I started the truly devious books cause I started following you on good reads. I love them! So fun. They are young adult which i am not but i love the ease of them

I have only read one Lucy Foley and I have read on GR that her plots are so similar. Maybe that is why I have not read another. I looked at the Stephen King book on GR and saw that it's a Richard Bachman. If you like the "old stuff", try Robert McCammon. Love all your projects today especially the Autumn girl by Barbara Ana. A few months back I bought a crap load of BA charts. I plan to start one in January - maybe Mad Hatter! Can't wait for the next video.

I think of stitching as giving yourself s little bit of self love, others go for walks or run or whatever and we stitch. Just think in a hundred years time somebody maybe looking at something we stitched as an an antique, like we look at antique samplers now. I stitch with no rules, I go at my own speed, stitch what Im in the mood for but I do like to finish so I guess Im pretty monogamous, with a dash of ferrel mixed in lol 😂😂😂
