Cam, I loved seeing all of your stitching. I loved seeing the dolls. The handmade doll is super creepy, but it has such a cool story behind it. I think I would display it all year long. Thanks for another great video!
Oh, em gee! YOUR HAUL!!! I mean, your patterns are always fire, but how did you score such a great haul?! Love every single thing you shared! I vote for Adam and Steve!
I would be losing my mind if I couldn't access my Libby account for three weeks omg!!! Also - I love all the stitches! You make me want to drop everything and stitch on my projects! Cherry!
I came for the cross stitch but OMG! The dolls are cool and slightly creepy. I just love that they are family antiques.... JUST saw the Campbell's kid. How cool!
I used to work at Joann years ago and could not agree with you more-remnants are the way to go. I still remember the day I found clear vinyl in the remnant bin and used my employee discount. It was a good day. I'm going to go with a light grey for the Noctiflora SAL, but I LOVE your fabric.
Long or not- always enjoy your Flosstube! So many new things and ideas- I hope all goes well for you both in stitching and in your health during the time before we see you again!
☺️ Thank you so much for your kind words. They came on a day I really needed them. I’m so happy to be stitch friends with you. And happy to hear you’re getting the referrals you need, too. I hope you get a good solution quickly. Love your stitching, as always! Your fabric for Halloween Quaker is so pretty. I think I need some of that fabric for some Halloween stitching.
Love all your projects and your vibe, i also love thrifting and finding old frames that actually fit one of my cross stitich projects is the cherry on top of my sundae! Cheers :)
The fairy sampler would look nice on the blue fabric you bought...I believe they are strawberry's in the border but they look like radishes to me. It does get tight in the swirl on the Dark Queen. I would suggest counting the space in the swirl to see if you're head will fit.
Great video! I just went to Goodwill today with my 7 year old son at his request. Gotta love a good treasure hunt. I also have Matter's Choice AND that same fabric and could easily be convinced to start along anytime! Hope you've made some progress with your health. Take care!
I think I enjoyed this video most of all I have watched. I feel almost like I am having a conversation with you and find myself wanting to answer. I do have a doll story that you may appreciate. Years ago I worked in a infant daycare and we had a doll that I think was meant to be a comfort doll for sleeping. It took batteries and would sing ‘Rock-a-by-baby’. It wasn’t an adorable cuddly looking doll to begin with and we named it Chucky. The batteries were going low so the song was slow and distorted and to make things worse, the dolls neck would glow in the dark. Needless to say, the babies did not sleep with Chucky.
Hello ! I love do much the works you share here ! Inm a french Stitcher and our pattern style are... very differents in my country.your whitchy green housse IS so great and OMG the dark Queen IS gorgeous !! I will Stitch her... And her sister from the sea too.
Love seeing the Nightmare Before Christmas squishmallows in the backgrounds of your videos. One of my fave movies! Love seeing your projects and the Goodwill haul. You got some fun things!
I loved seeing your thrifting, it's so fun to see what other people collect and get excited about! Also my grandparents are selling their house and I have an eye on a few of my grandma's dolls . . . I don't go for the creepy ones myself, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
That ruler frame is amazing and perfect for 1905 bird. Great thrift find. Those dolls 😱 especially the creepy plant root hand one 😅 We currently have a local collector exhibit at our museum. One of the collectors has his father's circus animal toys from 1905. They are amazing. Thanks for the great video! Have a good weekend.
Love the idea of changing it to two Eve's. I stay away from religious patterns and it totally makes sense to change it if you want to stitch the pattern. Cherry !
Eee thanks for all the love 🖤🖤 And oh my god no joke I got the exact same Jasmine Custom bag 🤣🤣 I jammed my wizard project in there as soon as I got it. The fabric is the best! Amazing video as always. And I think you need to have a doll segment moving forward. I love that hand-stitched doll with the sausage fingers. Creeptastic!
I don’t know if you’ve read that book series by Penelope Douglas, but the sampler made me think of a quote from it: always be Lilith, never Eve. But I also really dig the idea of doing Lilith and Eve!
LOVE the idea of changing Consider the lilies, changing Adam to Lilith (Adam’s first wife who wasn’t subservient enough/witch/ her lore is extensive) and Eve would be so fun. Another great video!
Hello, your channel came up in my feed and I really enjoyed it. I love all your gorgeous fabric and your floss. I love all your dolls. You can tell they are so old and those raggedy Ann and Andy wall plaques look like they’re from the 1950’s - 1960’s to me because I remember that style as a child. My favorite was the little porcelain on in the shoulder pad. It looked really old. I too love to thrift and go to Goodwill and have found many inspirational items good for finishing plus cheap frames. I love that your are so relaxed in front of the camera and you are just you, nothing fake, am I right? This was a fun video and look forward to watching more. I too have consider the Lilly’s and would love to do it. You could also leave it man and woman and name them say… Steve and Rachel or something😂😂and remove the verse. The verse is a Bible passage that basically means don’t worry about things.
Second time listener, first time commenter! It's crazy that your library branch got attacked, one of the systems near me in Ohio had a huge attack and all of their online sites and apps were down for *weeks*. Definitely sounds like there's some kind of library-targeted widescale attack going 😔 loved all your haul and hearing about the books!
The doll part was so funny. I hate (!) dolls. I used to have a really big soft doll as a Child ( I was almost as big as me), and one day at summer camp some older kids told me a really creepy story about a doll. I was scared so bad after that and made my mom donate that doll. The whole incident literally scarred me for life lol. I’m happy all these doll found a loving home with you and I hope they don’t come alive in the night and move on their own 😂😂
I've been so curious what the Rare Horrorflies SAL is going to look like!! I haven't joined because I already have a SAL and enough WIPs besides. But I'm excited to see what it looks like!
Oh your raggedy Ann things!! I recently ran across a picture of myself dressed as raggedy Ann for Halloween and I want to say we recycled that one a few years 😂 but you made me re-think about that today ❤
Darn it, you finally got me! I’ve been having some FOMO over the Greenhouse of Oddities SAL, but I was like, it will still be there, I can finish some other things and stitch it later….but yours is so damn gorgeous and then I see flytraps, a corpse flower, AND pitcher plants in one spot and I couldn’t resist. So I broke down and bought it and I’ll be stash diving shortly for fabric. I need to catch up on my Dark Queen for now! Mine’s been languishing too, because I just couldn’t decide on anything, but I think I finally picked and can move on. LOL I loved the Midnight Library - I read both that and Dark Matter when I was having a major “what if” crisis and both of them together really helped me through that. Dark Matter is a very different take on the same idea of infinite lives based on choices you’ve made. Perfect for all your existential crisis needs! Ha, ha, ha! And yes, if I ever do a piece with Adam and Eve in it, I already decided to take them out and leave the snake in. Like, "thanks for the knowledge, Snake!" 😀
I love snakes! It definitely will be staying. and i’m so happy to here that! I really loved Midnight Library, I’ll have to check out the other book you mentioned 🥰
I wish I could sew because I would die for some 90s project backs. Rugrats. Barbie. Classic Disney. 😭 your bags are so cute and we love a good thrifted find!!
Something to consider with Soda Stitch is that the backstitch really brings out the design. If you want crisp backstitching, that is hard to do with linen.
So thoughts on your Monster Mash thread, you could couple it with DMC in the various colours that you see in it - do the Quaker in the DMC + the Monster Mash (maybe for some of the bigger motifs) to ensure you have enough of it. I can’t wait to see what you do with it, its the most fun thread I’ve seen in ages! - take care, Nic
When I tell you I ran to the comments when you mentioned the locked cabinets at antique stores 🏃♀️ My social anxiety tells me the stuff in those doesn’t exist and don’t even look. Glad it’s not just me 😂
So many fun projects! I’m waiting to see more of the Horrorflies before committing but I love your fabric! I just bought ritdye because I want to do a jewel tone tie dye for the Wizard’s Inventory myself! I’m betting you have seen it already, but the tv series The Great? Despite the comedy and drama…still fairly close to historical truth in the weirdest ways possible
Also, not me blowing up your comments, I plan on stitching the Bakers Wife (I’m a home baker and sell cookies) and would LOVE to start it when you start if you’d like to start it like a sal idk how those work 😆

Holy crap, I LOVE Matt Haig’s writing so much. Like, so so much. The Midnight Library is fantastic, although I might possibly like The Humans slightly more. Also, I had a life size Raggedy Ann doll as a kid that my mom’s best friend made for me. I absolutely used to put on her bloomers and run around outside. Because, whatever. Bloomers are cool. Yeah. I’m gonna just leave it there. Bloomers are cool. 😂
Okay I don't know if this is a floss tube faux pas but I'm commenting mid-video to say yeah for sure that scary doll was kept in a drawers for years and years and years because looking into its stitched eyes will def put the person looking under some sort of evil spell! Annnnyway, your WIPs have me seriously thinking I should start greenhouse of oddities (obvi not following along with the official SAL at this point) and I can't wait to see your finish of the SAL with the wizard! That fabric is so good.
Peaky Blinders is my FAV! I sing the intro song all the time because I cannot help it. Congrats on the finish, that bird is something else. My grandmother made each of my cousins and myself Raggedy Ann and Andys one year. My Ann went missing years ago, but I still have my Andy. I wonder if my family members have theirs. For whatever reason I'm seeing a Quaker in that hank, on the blue fabric lol. I keep editing my comment to add more- those stockings, what if you made a Halloween garland with those ?? That would be so fun!
Where do I begin. So many things! Your oddities piece is to die for and I am so close to pulling the trigger on that one, the death head moth about did me in! Atheist here so I get changing the words which I did for mine, however I think I need to snag your idea about the two Eve’s. I’m doing the other one too so I would make that two Adams. That sounds so fun! I’ve never been to Michigan, but I would love to go one day and see where my Grandma grew up 😊 And yes! I just don’t want bible verse quotes in my house, it’s no offense to anyone but my jesus is Charlotte Brontë, Jane Austen, Oscar Wilde, etc. 😂
"And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these." This is from the BIBLE, but please do not omit it because the sentiment is so right. Jesus is saying don't worry about what you wear or look like. It means do not be anxious for your life. Live day to day and appreciate what you have. You are such a gifted young lady and so kind to share your choices of colors and patterns. I appreciate how you have broadened my tastes in fabrics. Rather you believe in a higher power or not, enjoy each day of life. I'm sure your grandma was very proud of you. My personal beliefs makes me sure she's watching over you. I don't like the Adam and Eve either, but please leave the verse. Consider it the recorded words of a wise man.

Rather you believe in a higher power or not, enjoy each day of life. I'm sure your grandma was very proud of you. My personal beliefs makes me sure she's watching over you.
I don't like the Adam and Eve either, but please leave the verse. Consider it the recorded words of a wise man.
That sentiment sounds lovely and very much applicable to my life. I haven’t decided yet if I will change it but I appreciate your kind comment 😊
