Lovely catching up with you! I vote 12 hours for Mary. You will love her finished on the wall. 🩷
I can’t wait to have her finished!
💖💖💖 Also my vote is for the colors of Mexico piece for New Year’s Eve! But honestly, you couldn’t go wrong with either one, Mary Morgans is absolutely stunning too!
Love the new ink! My vote is for Colors of Mexico because 1) omg the colors and 2) you said yourself it’s all about easing into the new year with big goals, treat yourself to a new start before your focus year!
Wishing you the best for the rest of the holiday season 💚❤ and I hear you, I just want all my loved ones to live next to each other, is that so much to ask??! 🎄
right?! why is everyone hours apart 😂
Thanks for another great video! The crochet is beautiful! Also... please don't apologize for showing your emotions. The holidays can be a lot for many of us and work stress on top of it sucks! Hope you find time to relax and do the things that bring you joy. For the poll, I vote for Mary Morgan or splitting the time. 🎄🎄🎄
Thank you 🥹 I think I will split the time!
Always soo much book to add to my TBR, it's fabulous, thanks!
Christmas can be magical but also can be really hard, don't apologize for your emotions 💛🎄
Thank you 💕
I am so scared of spiders so I could never! But the aesthetic is amazing!
I think bringing in the new year with a new start sounds like the way to go! That Colors of Mexico is gorgeous
You are so right! plus those silks are super fancy special for a new year new start
Bangs look marvelous on you 🙂! The Nostalgic Ouija board is looking SO GOOD!
Be gentle on yourself my dear friend - holidays are hard. 💕
Thank you, as always, for the book recs! My "to read" list grows every time 🙂
Thank you so much!! Yes, holidays are hard and so is growing up 😂🥲
You look amazing, as always. The bangs suite you, and your makeup is 🔥. Congrats on the finish. Beautiful WIP's. Your 12x12 plans sound fun. Both options are good. If you're really pushing for finishes, I would work on the WIP, so it's that much closer going into the new year. I can't wait to see what the new year brings for your stitching. 🎄
🎄Great video! Looking forward to your WIP parade. Have a great holiday! They definitely can be hard. Mine have looked much different this year than in past. Trying to embrace the new. 😊
🎄So much to say! Ha. My vote is for Colors of Mexico. I too am stitching No Time Like The Present. I have my two colors, kinda, I’m doing shades of green and can’t land my perfect duo yet, but do have my fabric ready, can’t wait to start. Your start is fantastic! Lastly … gotta put Riley’s book at the top of my TBR now, sounds amazing. We definitely have similar tastes in reading. Magical realism and psychological thriller. Yum. Thanks for sharing!
I’m excited to see a lot of flosstuber do “no (or limited) new starts” in the new year. I am in no way judging how many wips someone has, I think it’s fun to see, but I personally don’t have a lot of wips and sometimes all the new starts can be overwhelming and even a little bit pressuring? I’m just excited to see if we, as a community, can be a bit more mindful about our spending and consumption 🥰
I understand that, I think entering the community can be intoxicating and there definitely is pressure to purchase a lot. Realistically I am a young millennial with debt, bills, and high rent in a very populated area of the US. Being more mindful of my spending on my hobby is important, and I want to be transparent on my channel that buying “all the things” is not realistic or something to aspire to. I am very lucky that I have what I have, but I want to work hard this year to pay down my debt and enjoy the stash I already have ☺️
Personally I would work on Mary Morgan but I also don’t like having more than like 2 wips so it’s a personal thing. 😂 I’m excited to see what comes up in the new year!
🎄 your dad's scarf is coming along fantastically
You are such a beautiful, stunning, gorgeous, amazing, wonderful human. Love you so much 😘🎄
love u 😘
🎄Thanks Cam! Put all those books in my Goodreads❤
Loving your fringe! Also wanted to give you a big ol hug - Christmas is hard, and I hope you get some peace around the decisions you have to make around yours. Much love and have a happy Christmas however it plays out, take care Nic x
Your new tattoo is so cool! Totally your vibe. I’m deathly afraid of spiders too, but I’ve been thinking about adding some lil spiders and spiderwebs to my floral tattoos to make them less “girly”. I feel like I was a different person when I got those done. Still like them but not totally me anymore
🌲 You're so right, Christmas IS hard, for sure! I'm always thrilled when it's finally over lol. However, I do wish the Happiest Holidays to those that do love it
Can confirm, your new tattoo is definitely rad ♥️ Happy Christmas!
Thank you so much 🥹💕
love the plans. The witchy stitcher ouija board looks so cute and bright!
🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
I love this time of year to, the memories are hard though, ❤to you
Awwww!! I want to give you a hug!!! Christmas is hard
New Year new start for sure, 2023 has been a rough year, will not be sorry to see it go.
💯
I love both your crochet projects! And the stitching too of course. 🎄🎄🎄
No new starts, best of luck! I will probably try to do that in 2025 to finish some of the 40 starts I'm planning next year for my 40th. Thinking about doing 12x12 too, but I may do your version and choose one project to work on rather than 12 new starts. Looking forward to seeing your progress next year!
Haha yes, that’s why i’m doing limited starts 😂 no starts sounds impossible
🎄ok your makeup is fabulous 😍 love that Liz Mathews finish. It’s soooo cute🍐
Thank you!!!
Catching up 🧡🌝🎄
🎄 I love the idea of a garland with the trees! And thank you for your book reviews, because I have lost a lot of confidence in booktok and bookstagram. Too many paid promos without substance! 📚
Also, I get your longing of what once was. I feel that. ♥️
🌲🌲🌲The artwork on your new tattoo is pretty amazing. Also I take back what I said last time about probably not reading any of the books you review bc I do like Riley Sager, so I will def read The Only One Left after I finish the one I'm reading now - The House Across the Lake.
I loved House Across the Lake!!!! Every Sager book i’ve read has been great
Maybe you could stitch on each of those two projects for six hours each! It's totally up to you. I'm probably going to be stitching a different stitch for each hour. Whatever we do it will be fun, right?
Absolutely! No matter what I’ll be stitching in my pajamas all day 😂
I totally relate to Christmas struggle. ❤❤❤ I think you should work the 12 hours on new start! I’m a big believer in leaning into what you’re excited about and I also feel like it would be really fun to see how much you get done. How often do you get the chance for 12 hours of stitching challenge 😂
So true!
Your videos bring me joy! 🎄
I love your 12 days of Christmas stitch plans. I am doing those too but as samplers. I hope you have a merry Christmas 🎄
Hello and happy holidays , Cam! 🎄🩵 Love your eye shadow and all your projects. I understand crazy work during the holidays. 😅 It'll be done soon. I hope to also have a finishing type of year next year. I have so much stash ! Omg and your tattoo is very cool. Ironic that you're scared of spiders and have it... However, I'd look at it like a patronus against bad juju. Something like that.
yes! It will keep the spiders away 😉
You're right, Christmas is hard! It's much easier as a kid. But we gotta enjoy the good times when we can! 🎄
Looking forward to checking out your book reccs! 🎄
🎄
Great early christmas present
I vote for 6 hours on each! I’m very indecisive 🤷♀️
same! 😂
i vote colors of mexico :) :) so vibrant and stunning
My vote is for the Mexican sampler. Such funky colors and motifs.
Never apologize for emotions. The holidays are never my fave time of year. Too much stress and loneliness.
Loving your crochet! That hoodie is going to be amazing!
Have a great weekend ❤
i had ZERO business signing up for the house subscription…but i saw they have a hobbit house coming up and i was weak 🤷♀️🤪 holidays are hard. i keep finding myself saying, i’m an adult! why don’t i get to do what i want to do? and you’re right, work stress isn’t helping. hoping you get to chill and enjoy some of your time at least somewhat 🖤
that is exactly how i feel, like I just want to go home and spend time with all my loved ones 🥹
@@camthestitcher totally understand that! hopefully you can have some chill stitching time still. 🎄
I’m feeling Taylor swift vibes from your loook today
Yeah, Christmas kinda sucks now that I’ve lost so many loved ones. It’s just me and my daughter now, which is fine, but kinda sad.
How about stitching the first six hours on Mary and the last six on that gorgeous colors of Mexico.
Btw, I follow you on Goodreads and bought The Lost Village and The Only One Left at Audible.
Merry Christmas to you and yours🎄
That’s a great idea! I’m so indecisive so working on both might be the answer
🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
Girl you know you always look gorgeous
You should stitch 6 hours and 6 hours for new years!
Oooo that’s a good idea!!
🐴🐴🐴
6 hours on each --- then no decision to make ;)
you are so right, I’m leaning towards stitching on both for sure
🎄
