มุมมอง 741ปีที่แล้ว
I have been dailying the 911 for about 4 months and other than a couple minor oil leaks, the thing has been SO SOLID! I've been loving it so much I find longer ways to get everywhere, and have put about 4500 miles on it. Everything was going great - until it wasn't! #aircooled #porsche911 #broken

In this video I'll show you how to remove the intake and carbs from my Jaguar XJ6 S1. These cars came stock with twin SUs, but this has the intake manifold and carbs from an XKE, so it should be identical procedure on those cars as well. This was not a fun job and was more challenging than I anticipated. #jaguar #etype #xk

YAMAHA QUITS SNOWMOBILES 1968-2023
มุมมอง 6Kปีที่แล้ว
Today Yamaha announced it's quitting the snowmobile business for good, which bums me out. I'm worried about the future of this industry, so I talk about the economy in this one, snowmobile prices, and how BRP is just dominating everyone because they are subsidized by the Canadian government. #yamaha #snowmobiles #sleds
Yakima Roof Rack Install on Honda Civic EF Hatch Sedan CRX
มุมมอง 6Kปีที่แล้ว
In this episode I'm going to walk you through installing a period correct Yakima roof rack on my 90 Honda Civic Si Hatchback. I like road and mountain biking, and although I could fit both bikes in the hatch, it was beating up my interior and not great for the bikes either, and since my roof is all dented anyway, I figured a roof rack was a great way to solve both problems at once. You will nee...

i could swear it is my BMW from the 90's in Southhampton NY...i had this very model color & interior then ,crashed it after a fun night and let it be on my lot ..this engine would be worth restoring..fantastic drive with that manual..since the interior is mint..you'll be happy to drive this beauty..
I had yo put a tourqe stop on my sled ,it was easier to drill out the bracket rivets and replace with bolts
thanks a lot, saved me some time figuring things out, that leaves more time figuring out other things of the 911 build up that really need figuring out!
Great video 👍
I know this video is somewhat old now so i hope you see this, but I wonder how these have held up long term? Any leaking or anything from the back windows or doors? I want to throw a roof rack on my 90 ef and im tempted to use some self tappers and just mount a rack directly in to the roof haha
where can i buy the 86 si?
Same! My first car I bought. Great car
u wanna sell it brosky?
Bavaria easier to maintain due to it's relative simplicity. Aux fan at front is for AC. Bavaria was a cut-price 3.0S made specially to a pricepoint for the N. American market. The 3.0S and Si are more luxurious, and the 3.3Li was a closer competitor to the contemporary XJ and S class Merc.
From what I understand, the Bavaria was the first 'sport sedan', where they used the large engine, not many luxury features to save price/weight.
I don't think there was any weight consideration. All e3s were considered sports sedans. The objective was to deliver a cheaper alternative to the 3.0S and 3.0Si with a lower spec, so vinyl seats versus leather, etc..
jajajaja ya hizo caldo de gallo xD!
I have one on my shovelhead chopper, taking it apart and rebuilding it amazed me how simplictic it works and it runs very well.
They are cool carbs, and easy to work with!
Hi Rob - I was facing the same issue and found this. Much easier. th-cam.com/users/shortsJClrm8Xumoc
I drive a skidoo, but i also drove a skidoo that's over twice my age, because I'm broke and it was all i could afford at the time
Great video since I need to get under the fabric to install the Dorman heated seat pad kit. This showed me all the tricks to get under there.
Glad it helped someone out! 3g content is beyond niche
Glad it helped!
Realmente lo Amo este Hatchback , te felicito Bro ❤
At 9:41, I'd wrap your all-thread with tape where it is inside the bore of the dashpot housing, so as not to scratch or scuff the bore. Thanks for the video! Very helpful!!
You're welcome! Just FYI I have a new jag video coming out soon but it will be on my main channel
I love this!! I am going to get a 300$ outside router so 10acres is covered..thank you for your ideas brother!!
You're welcome! Glad it helped someone! I was beating my head against the wall trying to come up with something, and this has been working well for us
I bought this bike about a month ago. I have the fat tire now known as "cheetah" bike as well. That bike I have liked, this one not so much. The clearance is the prime issue, it is very low especially when you're riding and the rear shock is under load (I immediately removed the kickstand as you did as well). It threw both me and my son over the bars due to pedal strikes with the low clearance. We are both around 5' 11 and 180lbs range. My opinion is its not safe and should not be sold as a mountain bike as this is the intended purpose, riding mountain bike trails with roots, obstacles, etc. In my case it was a root and not even that much of a drop that caught the pedal and immediately threw me off, bruised my knee. The rear shock also was "bottoming out", hard to exactly determine what was happening but while riding over anything where the rear shock was engaged at a moderate level it would abruptly stop flexing and you could feel and hear "clunk". When I took it out of the box, it almost looked like a kids bike in comparison to my regular Specialized Enduro full suspension mountain bike and the "Cheetah" standing right next to it. There are a few other issues but this is the biggest. The battery and motor were good, 750W stronger than my "Cheetah" 500W motor. The customer service experience was not good either. Only email, a day or more late in response (broken english, response out of China obviously) and even after explaining what happened, my safety concerns and sent pictures, they indicated the 20% restocking fee would apply. This is not really a "free" 30 day trial, ends up costing me almost $200 plus the hassle of packing it up. The restocking fee was because "did not like" was the reason for returning - how about adding two words "did not like - unsafe bike"..?. They wanted a video on the issues and sorry I don't have a go pro and also not comfortable replicating something unsafe. Also the customer service number they provide is a non-working number and technical support they want you to text them and they'll get back to you in a couple days. So overall a very poor experience with this bike and I really wanted to like this bike.
I didn't have any pedal strikes like that, but I'm pretty careful with my pedal placement. How much do you weigh? It's not a fantastic e-mtb, but... for the price, it is pretty incredible.
@@addvancedgarage As stated above, 180lbs. Irrespective the clearance is very bad. I've been riding mountain bikes for almost 40 years, and there is nothing you can do about pedal placement when clearance is this low. You'd have to constantly stop pedaling to avoid hitting the ground, roots etc. I will be posting my own review at some point, really feel strongly this is an unsafe bike for real mountain biking/trail riding.
How much fluid did you need
2025 is the last ear for Yamaha sleds...
I just score a 96 ITR full swap for $2500 with faulty exhaust valves on 2 &3 cylinder or it could just be the headgasket but most likely valves. Still a sweet deal.
I was very little when cars people I knew still drove had those style active seatbelts, and it always made me uneasy.
These are passively active. It's weird because nobody uses them like that.
That Jaguar must come back to the road!
Check my other channel, updates very very soon!
why not just replace the cap and rotor?
I've done that like 5 times. It always comes back.
What is the weight capacity for that particular rack?
First step to working on an astro anytime the doghouse has to come off, remove at least one seat.
My 2004 dies run but gets yo a point it just. Ranks over n not start then after a few days it might start like it's doing n then it starts again please help
I owned a E3 for many years late in the 80s and early 90s. Drove it also from Stavanger, Norway to Berlin a summer. Flat out on the Autobahn. I can say 110% sure it will outhandle ANY Jag from the same era with ease. It did also perform way better in roadhandling in the countryside twisties that the then current Mercedes models. Hugged the tarmac like a street h###er. The only minor gripe I had about her was that I did wish she had a pinon & rack steering and not the "snail". A at that time a better handling and chassis than the more famous CS. BRILLIANT car. A real car.
Thanks, I needed that !
Thank you Very helpful video I subscribed 😊
without a infrared temp meter, how can you hear that a car is not running on all its cylinders ? what to pay attention to ? I'm amazed that some people on the internet 'heard' your 5 cylinders not being the 6 so I'm really curious...how do you learn that ? I think I wouldn't hear the difference between 4 or 6 :-( but willing to learn !
2.07 Best not to bend that spring under the dashpot!
You still doing anything with that jaaaaagg?
I had a ef si hatch with oem power windows
spray it with clear flex seal
Thank You, just looking at how to do these today on a friends car.. Brilliant thanks
You are the first person to actually put up a great video for this !!! Thank you very much 😊
Thanks! I was annoyed I couldn't find a video, so I try to document my process in hopes of helping people out. Cheers!
Nice job bro 💪 💯
Yo sweet ride !!👍👍👍👍love that someone took good care of this honda si!👍👍👍
Question, did you have to drain coolant out when removing the manifold? I'm doing the same job myself soon. Except I have 2 stromberg carbs.
Yes, you will have to drain coolant
Thanks for this helpful video
I bought the same bike last September, all ready the throttle stopped working. I called l cust service and was told me the throttle was not covered. Tne warranty is for 18 months wth!
Nice if you do extended review after 1-2 years. I used an ebike in Philippines from China. The peddle fell off. Peddle assist, so you can't use it. So local support and brand important.
Will do, but it's been fine for 10 months. I do have winter tho so I don't use it half the year. Also, installing a pedal is super easy.
These old jags do like to bite you. I'm fortunate enough to know a few old blokes who worked at the factory. Even they complain about them. Your efforts will be rewarded👍👍👍👍👍👍
Keep the 87. Best car evaaaa!
Really looking forward to your boating vids
