Congratulations on getting her back on the road. I have watched this project from the beginning and it has been a long journey. It does take support from others or it won’t get done. Looking forward to the next item on the list.
Congrats Rob, Been following this for over a year. I know the emotions and roller coasters these projects can be.. I just finished my 78 911sc after a one year of a full rebuild. Just finished it this last week. Installed some SSI'S and M&K sports muffler this morning. Thanks for all your insight. it was a huge help. I know the pump you feel! so rad. Cheers from Canada bud.
Full rebuild all the way down? Dang, RIP your credit card. This was expensive enough and I didnt even split the case. Glad the videos helped someone, the whole point was to share knowledge, when I started there were not many channels with DIY 911 content.
Brooooooo!!! Ive been watching this series since day 1! As you know, you inspired me to do the same on my 77 Targa and your videos were SUPER helpful, fun, insightful, and informative. Seriously, this is the best series on the narrow body G 911 rebuild on TH-cam hands down. Thanks for doing this and filming it since it isn't easy. I know exactly how you felt when you ripped it around for the first time cause I did it too back in September 2022. Again, lets keep this series alive and add more content on it because its just too good!! CONGRATS!!
Awesome! Thanks for the kind words man, it means a lot! TBH the 911 videos don't do well because it's such a niche market, but I was hoping to inspire people to tackle larger things like this. Just go slow and complex stuff is possible by even idiots like me. Cheers!
Congrats! It was quite fun to watch this whole project and learn, even though I would probably be too scared to break stuff on my own 2.7, haha. Also enjoyed seeing the wholesome and fun dynamic you two have and the support you get
I'm trying to decide if I'm seeing the character and patina you were talking about on previous detailing discussions we had, or if it's the glare of the sun that I'm seeing. Car sounds great, and you did a good job capturing some of the exhaust notes as well, love it! Spotted Cow = great beverage choice. One of my coworkers is originally from Janesville and is berated badly by us when he doesn't bring us back any after returning from family visits :)
I'll do a video on the finish at some point, want to get the rear end together first. I think I need to cut up my exhaust tips.... bleh. Pretty geeked how it sounds tho! the cow is decent! Cheers!
Great job!! but not a big fan of the muffler ...... I have a 1986 and I installed a 2019 gt3 muffler with billy boat headers and the sound is amazing! I totally enjoy driving the car more now and so I highly recommend it
Really enjoyed watching the build and congratulations on the first drive. Are you going to work on the bodywork next? Love the black and gold colours, i'm hoping they stay?

Thanks Kevin! Appreciate it!
You guys are great! Don't stop on the series. Keep the videos coming. Cheers :)
Lots more coming, but this was a big step!

Hey man, I'd never done this before either! Best way to learn is to dive in! Just take lots of pics, and be meticulous about bagging parts.
Awesome Rob, been watching since the beginning! Keep going!
That's awesome! Been a while....should have been done the first year but keep getting distracted :D

Great stuff, congrats to you both. I say leave the bumper off to give the cars and coffee weirdos something to complain about 😂
Ha, I'd like to get it back on but the exhaust needs to get fixed. Having my neighbor tig weld a tip down a few degrees so they match up.

Body is perfect! The paint is F'd but I don't care, spending 10k for perfect paint won't make it any cooler.
Get on the twin tunnel boat!!!
Sweet 9 One one
