I recently purchased an immaculate Mulberry bag from addicted to handbags which I am thrilled with and it was a fraction of the RRP. It’s important to remember there are amazing unique pieces out there that don’t cost the earth and you can wear for many years to come. Great video! 🙌🏻

So fun to see some of the stuff you've found. That Burberry skirt is super cute. If shopping for clothing, a tape measure is a very handy tool because even in adult clothing, the sizes can be really off! I've come across some great like new bargains simply because the items have been mis-sized.

Love watching your channel Monica. I got my bargain of the week yesterday in our local charity shop. A navy, boat neck, 3/4 sleeve midi dress from Ralph Lauren for £4.25. It fits and looks great and is so heavy will be great for winter 👍x

Thanks Monica. Great video. I'm a similar size to you and often buy children's sizes. I recently got a lovely mustard padded gilet and a sweatshirt both of which were 14-16 year old sizes. I also get sneakers from the kids section.

One year I made a hamper with secondhand gifts. The receiver got very upset because they gave like a more expensive gift to us and asked if ours was secondhand? I said yes it was and they would have liked that we had a equal budget when we exchange gifts or then mention beforehand it can be secondhand. I don't mind what I get as gifts myself but of course the things has to look like new ones. I would never ask my friend was your gift bought secondhand. People have different economical situations and give what they can afford. Therefore I don't want to make these any longer or I have to know the person very well before.

I love charity shopping. The problem is my parents and i don't see eye to eye with it. They have been known to turn their noses up at the idea and have criticised me for not feeling the same way. This 'i got it first' and 'look at how much money i spent on this' mentality makes no sense to me and it's so unnecessary. Thrifting is really good for our planet's eco system and a lot of preloved clothes are recycled to make clothes for regular retail stores

I love making hampers as gifts! Yours is colour-matched (more or less) as well which makes it look extra classy. I used to buy those round mirrors, about a foot or two across, from Poundland to use as a base for my hampers. I’d place the mirrors flat on a sheet of polythene, place the gifts - mugs, toiletries, books, personal things as you have - on the mirror, pull the polythene up and over the items and tie with a (thrifted or saved) ribbon. It looks so elegant, especially if you colour-co-ordinate to some extent. Your sister is bound to adore such a thoughtful, creative, loving gift.

I like the idea the sustainability of shopping second hand and supporting charity shops. But I also think it would be even more sustainable if we just bought one gift for someone rather than feeling the need to buy multiple gifts as you have here. So in this example you’ve filmed - wouldn’t your sister have been perfectly happy just with the bag nicely wrapped up for Christmas? I feel we all have too much ‘stuff’ in our houses and are missing the simplicity of really appreciating quality over quantity.

My sister has Boticelli curls, and fought it for years. Finally, she embraced the curls and it made her like a lot easier. Over-washing is bad for your hair and scalp. It actually makes your hair produce more oil. I have the same problem as you do regarding light sensitivity. If I see any light at night, I cannot sleep! I bought black out drapes.

Hi darling. Enjoyed this video very much. I was intrigued by the spa visit.... At 57 I have never been to a spa or had a massage ( the only massage i get is the cat kneading my tummy lol).
