I could suggest maybe upgrade the hammer to an exceptional version (or even elite) + put a socket to it to make it viable for hell. This is usually my trat i use for almost any good gear that is normal tier like Goblin toe, some set pieces, etc. Just the farming for Pgems and the runes might be a bit of a hassle but its doable

reistances needs to be at least 75 or more just like D2. chaos would be great to have them at zero at least. get spell suppression up to 100, and then ailment avoidance

you want more dumb ideas? o crazy theories of my own,, theory nº1: each map has a chest or a corpse that doesnt have anything on it. and they are always in speficic places for a reason, for example, the one next to the countess tower, the one in the entrance outer cloister, the amazon corpse in inner cloister next to the waypoint, so maybe if you discover all the chest and activate them you will get or discover something new, maybe is the oposite and you dont have to touch those chest, who knows.. Or maybe focus on opening all the chest of each map?or not opening anyone at all. theory nº2: what happen if you use the charsi hammer to open the stairs in act 3? or use it in the forge? or viceversa? try to combine all those unique mission specific items to do crazy shit, or maybe combine them in the cube. what about alkor potion, and malaa potion, combine them? books, and horadric pergamines, malaah skiller? theory nº3: what if you open a cow level with rare wirst leg? I hope you like it!!

It’s honestly not that the weapon was good. The holy fire build is just that amazing to grind levels until about the end of nightmare.

The game is amazing when you have an idea what is possible and specialize into specific things via the atlas skilltree. And yes, your character looks the same through the entire game. Sadly only very few uniques really look different. I wish they would focus the shop on different skill animations, hideout stuff and stashtabs and let us find different looking armour. I recommend not to spend money on lootboxes and other stupid things. You can make the game better and even easier to understand with the right stashtabs. I would buy currency, map, fragment, unique stashtab in that order over time. Then the ones you enjoy the content of, for example if you like essence or delve and want to spend some money, get those.
