Hello! We are Stuart and Emmie Bobson and we are documenting our journey as we settle in to continuously cruising life on our 57 foot narrowboat, Annie!
We lived together in London (mostly in Tottenham) for over 10 years. Stuart designs and builds electric guitars. Emmie is an NHS administrator and local artist. We are child free after infertility and looking for a different adventure than the one we previously planned.

STILL JULY 2024. Stuck by the tidal Trent with no engine to power out narrowboat home, we meet some incredibly kind strangers who tow us all the way back to Newark.
We discuss how it feels to lose our engine (and our savings), the stress and the gratitude.
