Another lovely vlog showing the ups and downs of narrowboat life. Swing bridges are a law unto themselves, they either work or don't work, depending on how they feel xxx
Absolutely! We both struggled a bit with that one to get it to lock. Sometimes you just have to be a bit forceful with some of those old mechanisms. ♥️
Thanks for another great video. I love hearing about your efforts for wildlife and preservation, I will take a look at the action that we can do to support. The world is changing such a rapid pace and we all must do our bit to ensure we have systems for people and the planet instead of profits. The tea towels sound exciting. Look forward to the next video 💚
Thanks for another lovely video Emmie and Stuart. After all the rain and hail, the leaky windows and pipes and the weedy propeller you end up in the most beautiful mooring spot. It looks like a Paul Nash painting or an Eric Ravilious illustration. Fantastic!
I love watching your travels. This week I bought a Nicholsons guide and although I’m not a narrow boat owner, I’m a keen ‘gongoozler’ and plan walking some of the Leeds Liverpool Canal.
Ooh, tea towels sounds great. Will you be creating any artwork based on some of the historic buildings you have come across on your travels, such as the Silk Factory from a few episodes ago? Hopefully the windows are now all ok and you wont have to battle with the Rain Gods! Don't touch the 'green stuff' Emmie 😅. Have a great week 🤎
Thank you so much ☺️ I have drawn the Hovis Mill in Macclesfield (not sure if we mentioned that building in the vlogs though 🤔) but I hadn't thought to do the Silk Museum and I love that idea! Touching the green stuff was worth it! 💚
Just wanted to drop you a comment... 😁 Oh, and spot on concerning the CO2 btw. It's good for plant life, making fertilizer, for fire extinguishers...but, as they say, too much of a good thing can be bad and, unfortunately, we have created an excess. Take care.
Wonderful area .shame about building on it etc .but I'm afraid influx of immigrants and homeless people it and need of housing that's affordable means can't have one without the other.great blog will do what we can do to preserve this area
Agree that more affordable homes are needed, but we feel sure it's possible to build them not on peat land. And only 10% of the planned new homes would be affordable 😞
Hello, we didn't mean to imply all co2 should be removed so apologies we came across that way! Our understanding is that we have an excess of co2 which is causing global warming due to human activity creating more co2 than nature can remove. Peat bogs are a rare habitat for certain plants and animals and helps naturally prevent an excess of co2 so we feel saving the area is a good thing
Another breath of fresh air vlog.. love the tea towel idea so perhaps selling at a stall in Crick boat show? Would also like more of cooking and guitar playing 😊
Ooh that's a good idea! We've still never been to Crick boat show and can't make it this year, but hopefully next year 😊 And thank you, we'll happily include more cooking! Stu spends more time building than playing guitars though!
Sending love & light to you both ☺. Just because I want to, and just because I can 🦋🐝🐞xx
Thank you! ☺️❤️ Much love and light to you too x

Thank you so much ☺️❤️
Climate change is scary and overwhelming and we don't feel we do enough but have to keep trying 💚
Swing bridges are my nemesis too Emmie, but now I’ve learnt to drive the boat, so my husband Alan can do them all this summer! :)
Ah! Glad I'm not alone, but sorry they torment you too! ☺️ I will also drive instead of doing swing bridges where possible I think!
Glad Danes Moss lived up to our hype 😁
😁

Thank you for watching ❤️ we loved both our spots in this video, they were so beautiful! X
Nice to see you cruising the Macc. We love the Railings mooring too. Happy travels NB Wolf Moon
Thanks for watching! The railing spot is stunning!
Lovely lock sequence 😊
Thank you!!
Yes…quite a beautiful spot with cow and duck neighbors as well! Enjoy some restful time there if possible 😅😅(despite the weed hatch)
Thank you, we did 🩷🦆🦆

Ah amazing! Hope you enjoy the walks! ☺️

For those unfamiliar with country ways, 2:28 is a field where they grow bin bags
🤣🤣🤣 we call those 'modesty hay' and the naked ones 'display hay'
thanks for letting us in on your world , hope it warms up a bit soon . Liked the look of tea towel , take care 🤒
Thank you so much ☺️

Are all your leaks fixed? The window project looked parlous! Thanks to you both for sharing with all of us!
Oooh we like the word 'parlous'!
The leaks into the bilge are fixed! But we are just discovering a new leak adjacent problem 😬
I love your videos, thank you. I taught at the college of north east London in Tottenham for 20 years!
Oh amazing! We walked past CONEL so often! ❤️
Xx
Just had to do cheese on toast thank you xx
Hope it was delicious! X
Emmie, love your drawings/art. Do you make cards from the art? Do you have a shop? Su 🙂
Thank you so much ☺️ I do have a shop at emmiejoanna.com

It's co2 that promotes plant growth. Its not a bad thing. Please research it 😢.

Please don't misunderstand me I adore your vids but as a very minor scientist I hate that C02 is being portrayed as a bad thing. Life depends on it.😢😢
Thanks, we could have been clearer but it didn't occur to us it might sound like we were suggesting getting rid of all co2 x
Clueless
great film
'oh my god...I love Josh!'
