Thanks for the tutorial its a great gun. Just put the firing pin back holy hell you really do have to finesse I had to twit and turn it to get in properly. other than it great tutorial.

Forget the 10mm. This is the ideal companion in brown/grizzly bear country. Much as i love my handguns, they're not reliable in big game territory.

If you have no idea which gun you want then it’s better to buy a plastic striker as a first gun. You will understand how much you need a handgun If you like shooting and carrying handguns then try 1911 or 2011… 1911 is way more complicated platform and more expensive handgun. If you like to own a real nice handgun then 1911 is your choice. I am not a super big fan of 1911s I just owe a dozen… just a fan

I appreciate your thorough video explanation of disassembling and assembly. I just picked mine up from getting it transferred to my local gun shop. I wish I could track down the history of it. The SN puts it at being from 1927, allegedly.

Good review. I need to advise you the Blackhawk Serpa holster has had issues, like the button locking up, when any amount of debris gets in the crevices around the button. For a quality pistol, like a HK, you should check out Vedder holsters. Not cheap, but much better made, and higher quality., which a Heckler and Koch pistol deserves. For OWB the " Lightdraw" with the optional pancake wing belt loops is tops.

Where can I get a replacement screw

I was given my dad's 1912 20 gauge. Based on the SN, it was manufactured in 1917. Will this only accept 2 1/2" ammo? From just a little research I think that is the case, but want to confirm with other owners of this shotgun. It's kind of a shame, because after he gave it to me (and now he has passed several years ago) in the interim I purchased a handful of 2 3/4" 20 gauge ammo, without realizing that this older 20 gauge might not accept that. Any feedback is appreciated.

these were and are, battle rifles. The human heart is probably 3-5 MOA depending on where your point of aim might be. One does not need 1 MOA on a battle rifle. Besides, I see you have a bayonet lug. Acquire a bayonet and learn how to use it . . . battle rifle, like an M1. 30.06. I am a retired medical doctor, former Battalion and Regimental Surgeon in the USMC, Viet Nam and Desert Shield/Storm.
