I think the "Waterdrop X Series Undersink Reverse Osmosis System, X16" or "Waterdrop X Series Reverse Osmosis System, X12" or even "G3P800 Reverse Osmosis System" can do the same, cheaper and maybe better as far as "Reverse Osmosis" system, it wasted a lot less dirty water, all them has integrated pump. If you already owned the Spotless DI system, all you need is "Reverse Osmosis System" + 2 adapter 1/4" x 3/4" + water storage tank. You might be able to use it for both drinking water and car wash by adding the Y connector at the output. They're also selling "Waterdrop Spotless Car Wash System" with integrated bypass with good pricing.

What is the point of the bypass? Can you not empty the system through the same point you’re adjusting the dirty water flow?

This is pretty much what all window cleaners do. However its generally not recommended in pressure washers because water that clean will wear out the lubes in the o-rings and stuff very quickly. At least thats what I'm told.

Doesn't the presure knob do the same thing as the flush valve? I mean can you not flush the water with the presure handle?

You are being so disingenuous to your audience and maybe even to yourself. How many hundreds or thousands of dollars did you spent in new equipment and fittings and hoses and electrical parts to set up that additional pre system, not to mention the filters that will need to constantly be changed out in the new equipment that you added to pre clean the water prior to hitting your initial D I system. Totally misleading.

So,.you are using in secuence: Sediment F + Carbon F + Reverse Osmosis F + De-Ionozer F. The real cost is the sum of all of them. The real efficiency is determined for the more expensive step
