IM BREAKING UP WITH MY FOAM CANON

  • In this video i introduce you to the wonderful world of foam injectors. There are other solutions out there so you don’t have to mess with foam canons. If you’re cleaning buses, RV’s or semis you need this in your arsenal. I have a love hate relationship with my foam canon. They constantly tip over, they leak, the settings always move around on you, they’re clunky, they get in the way honestly my list could go on and on. This is part 1 of a part 2 video.

    That's the ST-160 injector Made in Germany.. by Suttner. There is an updated version; the ST-160M that replaces the dosing valve with a metering valve so you can cut the ratio with the turn of a knob. And nice of Suttner to offer just the valve if you already have the original ST-160, you can buy the ST-161 valve separate.

    That’s a great system. Have you tried the Griots BOSS foam cannon? It has auto metering so you don’t have to fill up all the time. Just straight soap in the bottle. I can do at least 10 washes with a full bottle. Plus it’s full stainless.

    You may need to dilute the soap might be too thick to pull. I like the concept but would rather pull spraywax instead of soap.

    • @EseGavino7
      @EseGavino7 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The system automatically dilutes the soap through the pressure washer so no need to dilute the gallon. They have nozzle that go in the system that automatically dilute 100:1 and 200:1

    I wonder if they can put a valve on the injector that way you can turn and off the soap?

  • @jamesledesma
    @jamesledesma 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It probably needs a foot valve at the end of the tube that enters the soap. Foot valve allows the tube to stay primed

      I sure will! So far I have loved not having to mess around with foam canons. Especially as I’ve been washing more and more RVs and Trucks. Only draw back is they suck a lot of soap. I mean a lot.. Chem X reached out to and has offered another solution. They’re sending me a new injector and foamer to try out. But overall story. I love these things.

  • @freedomisntfree5573
    @freedomisntfree5573 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Sooooo. How does your pressure washer know you switched nozzles and stopped using just soap?
    Now you have a pressure washer line full of soap that you need to use up.
    Shorten your pick up line. Switch jugs around do its closer to the injector.
    I think you'll hate having to deal with the excess soap in your pressure washer line.

    • @SpotlessWaterGuy
