Wayne Polcin
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 13 ธ.ค. 2012
My channel started as a place to keep videos that I didn't want to lose. Some are experimental, some are family related, some are just plain dumb. It wasn't until I stumbled upon Buckin Billy Ray Smith's channel that I realized I could help to spread a message of love, peace and kindness through my videos as well as document my life experiences. So the audience is slowing growing. My goal is to refine my cinematography and editing skills, but more than that, shift the focus away from trying to be perfect and allow the real Wayne Polcin to emerge. To not be afraid to take criticism as well as praise. The final goal being to leave a legacy of my life and of all the lives who have helped to shape mine! Thank you to all my subscribers - you are changing my life!

My Dog Steals Chicken Eggs So I Did This

Very good video help me a lot thanks
I appreciate your comment. I learned a lot while I was doing it. Thanks for the kind words!
Thats cool, i gotta give your daisy chain a try!
Come organize my tools with me 😜
One twist in a strap prevents flapping. I use them all the time and learned that to be absolutely true.
That’s good to know. I haven’t noticed a problem without the twist, but I never really paid close attention. I’ve been watching semi trucks lately and I have not seen any using the half twist and their straps aren’t flapping. Maybe it something to do with the size of strap. I’ve heard both sides of the debate so I think a test is in order.
Oh, great! Now I have to go get all my straps (nicely wound, btw) out of the canvas tool bag (thx aircraft bench stock purge) from behind my truck seat, daisy chain them, see if they all will fit back in the tool bag that contains them so snugly. Leave it to Wayne to encourage an old guy to try another way. Gee, thanks Wayne. I'll send pictures...
I know it’s hard, Mike. But you know the old saying, variety is the spice of life! You should never run low on options so stop complaining and start daisy chaining! See what I did there?
@WaynePolcin yeah, yeah.
Good evening Wayne, good information. That's how I do my longer extension cords. Had lots of straps and never thought about storing them like that. 👍 ❤ 👍
I’ve been doing this for many years. I didn’t think it was good enough to share in a video, but maybe I was wrong about that. Thanks Terry. Much love and kindness to you!
I'll have to give that a try... I just wrap the end arond the buckle and toss it into my tote... pretty simple way of keeping the straps from unwinding ... another great idea WP! have a good one!
I don’t know why I didn’t mention this in my other ratchet strap video. I’m always looking for a better way to do things, but in this case, I like my way best. It’s pretty universal and doesn’t depend on the hook type, etc. Great to hear from you, moofdogg! Take care!
Really interesting way to stow your straps, I will have to try it
I’ve been doing it for years and I never thought it was the best way to store them, until I tried all the other methods I saw on the internet. I kept coming back to this way. The more you do it, the better and faster you get. It works for me.
Hi Wayne, Until I saw this video, I was always wrapping the straps around the buckle. I'm going to try your way and see how it goes. Storage space is always an issue so daisy chains make them more compact. I'll give it a go. Peace
The first time I tried it, I wasn’t sure I would keep doing it, but after several years, it’s still my preferred way of doing it. You get faster at it the more you do it. Peace and love to you!
@@WaynePolcin Love back, to you and Suzie, and the critters
This is my come to Jesus moment regarding ratchet straps videos. After all I've seen on the internet, this is still the way I like to store ratchet straps. We all have our own way of doing things. This is mine. Stay kind friends!
Good way to keep them from tangling up 😊 You are so organized 😎
@tamiduda4660 Organized? Don’t be fooled by what you saw in the video. My desk is a mess. My basement is in disarray and my head is a natural disaster. 😜
@WaynePolcin 😄😄😄
Nice job!! When do you plan to install the flush toilet?😅 And THAT folks is how a caring person takes care of family!! My only thought is now that there is a solid-ish material on the door, during the day the wind may close it and keep Maverick from his home or stuck inside. There are rods that can be attached thru the chain link on the door that would hold the door open. Find one in the gate section of your hardware store. I have one on each of my gates. Take care.
That's a great tip. I'll go out and get one. As for now, I'm just propping it open with block of wood.
When I was younger, we had a Saint Bernard. Liked the colder weather much better than warmer. However always had a place to shelter in bad weather. Maverick is a very lucky dog to have such a nice place to shelter. Blessings to you all.
The Humane Society would not let me adopt a Great Pyrenees because I told them I planned on keeping him outdoors. They told me that their policy states all dogs must be kept indoors with a one hour outdoor period per day. I told them they were out of touch with the truth. Maverick is genetically dispositioned to be an outdoor dog. They had no idea that I was the type of dog owner that would give the best care to my companion, even as an outdoor dog. He loves the outdoors and when we open the front door of our house, he just stands there, with no desire to come in. Much love and blessing to you and Sue!
Great job on the roof WP, and the tarps are a necessary addition. That pup is styling in his crib! Looking good! Have a good one and hey to your Suz the Q.
These are the times when, “it’s a dogs life” can be taken literally to mean there’s nothing better than life as Maverick! Do well today my friend!
Nice job getting Maverick's kennel winter ready. He's a good dog and deserves the best.
Thanks Angie. I tell him you said that, haha! I hope you’re healing well!
@@WaynePolcin Thanks Wayne. I get to spend the day at the VA doing follow up and getting poked and prodded and give blood samples to the vampires. I'm healing ok but I'm ready for my life to go back to normal LOL
His kennel is getting pretty fancy 😊 Maverick is one lucky dog ❤
He has earned special treatment. I guess that’s why they call him a “Great” Pyrenees, 😆.
Maverick is well loved 👍🏻👊🏼🔥🧡
Shadow might be a good nickname for him because he is with me wherever I go. The humane society wouldn’t let me adopt a Great Pyrenees because I wanted an outside dog. Their policy is that dogs must be kept indoors except for one hour per day. Go figure!
Looks great, like the metal work. He'll be out laying in the snow 😂. Sounds as though the weather coming in the morning may test the plastic out. Have a great weekend when you get to it.
He’s bred to endure the cold for sure. This is more of an experiment on my part and a chance to put out more TH-cam content, 🤣. The plastic feels like it’s gonna hold up. I was impressed when I unpackaged it. It should be for $52! I am not looking forward to the cold morning. At least it held off until the middle of November. Take care my friend!
Looks like a pretty nice place for Maverick, just cutting the wind will help a lot
Yeah, even though he’s genetically fit to survive the outdoors in the winter, I just felt like he deserves royal treatment for being such a good dog, hahaha!
Have a nephew with a Great Pyrenees. Unless the temps get sub freezing for extended periods he should be fine and happy in there. They will let him out to go to the bathroom at night in 30 degree weather, then have to go out and drag him back into the house.
Yeah, I feel much better now that he has shelter from the cold wind. And the clear tarps letting the sun in should make it cozy for a Great Pyrenees. Time will tell.
Good morning Wayne, great to see you again. 🎉🎉🎉
Is it morning? I must be dreaming that I’m wide awake at 10:15 pm. Great to hear from you my friend!

Great information, Wayne
you make it look so easy... if you use it every day it becomes second nature... definitely useful knots WP. I used larger split face pulleys for our confined space entry program for ease of setup on the tripod and entry / retrieval device... that little bugger you have is a winner for sure ease of use! thanks for takin us along WP and as always, have a good one and stay safe out there among them trees and such. How is the new storage building coming along? Hey to the one and only Suz the Q and take care.
thanks !! always good to see this stuff to deal with the once-a-year headaches... my ice chains for my 14.9-28 tires are way to heavy to be manhandling over the tires. thanks again.
Yep. It’s not a task I look forward to doing so anything to make it easier is always welcomed. Thanks for your kind feedback.
Good information to have. My Dad taught me the bowlin. "Rabbit goes around the tree, down the hole, around..." "Dad, what rabbit" " "Just pretend THIS is a rabbit". Now see..." " what color is the rabbit" " It doesn't matter. Now see, it goes round the tree..." " Doesn't look like a tree, does it?" Just pretend. The rabbit goes down the hole..." " A snake. It looks like a snake. Why is it going down the hole?". "Is it supper time? I think Mom is calling. Let's put the snake away for later"
Okay! You got me rolling on the floor with gut wrenching laughter 😆 Thanks!
Hi Wayne and Maverick! Good to see you. Been a rough month or so for me, and your smiling face brought me some joy. Thank you
Hey, hey, Angie K! I know you’ve been in recovery mode. I hope you’re getting closer to a full recovery. I always look forward your comments. Stay strong and get Weller!
So has Maverick started wandering off if not watched closely ☹️
He stays on the property, but when I can’t see him, I get nervous. He’s still a puppy and prone to distractions from things like squirrels and such. I don’t like to take chances.
Nice to see you and Maverick getting some fall work done....winter is coming soon! Nice knots too 😊😊
@tamiduda4660 the weather has been unbelievable to this point. We got our first rain in three weeks today. Spring and fall are my favorite times of year so whenever I get extra days I feel like I’m in heaven. I hope you’re well and all prepared for winter!
GOOD evening Wayne I was hoping you would show some of your wood projects.
I have a plan to show some projects made from wood taken from the property. That will be coming in a future video.
@WaynePolcin I can't see you splitting all your fire wood with a double blade axe, so I thought you might illustrate some of your techniques. Oh, yeah, that's a nice dog run you put up for Maverick
Hey friends! What's the true test of kindness? My subs know the answer to that question by heart. I hope you enjoy this little tidbit of a video. If so, please LIKE, COMMENT and SUBSCRIBE. I love getting to know people so I hope to get to know you!
After you toggle off the regulator and after I changed over to propane do I need to flip it back on? My burners are working great but my stove is not lighting. Great video it really helped a lot.
Yes. That’s my bad. I forgot to tell my viewers to turn that regulator back on. Great observation. Thanks for your feedback!
Does that thing oil correctly? I don't see oil holes on the bar
Good morning Wayne and cousin Eddie. Hilariously funny bloopers.
Awesome upgrade! Thanks for sharing. Minor complaint for me would be that there is no option for captive nuts on this particular upgrade.
Yep. I was disappointed with that issue too. Another sub said he put the original clutch cover back on so he could keep the captive nuts. But you would have to leave the outer dawg off to do that. I think the double dawgs give so much more control that it’s worth losing the captivity. Thanks for the feedback!
My high school students and I watched your video in our US History class today. Thank you for making this!

good ol American ingenuity WP, even with Cousin Eddy helping! Now, how many of those thingies to you have to modify for your go pro fleet? Have a good one WP and hey to Suz the Q!
Yeah, I have about 10 of those screws, but wire nuts are cheap. I already have two of them done and I just keep using those two until I get frustrated enough to take the time to do the rest. Suz-the-Q sends a howdy to you!
A pair of needle nose pliers might have worked....but wouldn't be half as entertaining as watching you two come up with this solution 😂😂 Besides who wants to carry pliers around all the time?? 😁😁
O c’mon, Tami, you know better. Have I ever taken the easy and practical approach to doing anything? After all, Ralph Albert was my idol!
@WaynePolcin 😂😂😂 With Ralph Albert as an Idol...your family and friends will always be surprised at the inventions you come up with😁 Let the creativity flow 😎
Genius, off label use of a wire nut😊
I don’t know about genius, definitely off label. This is the second time I’ve had to fix GoPro engineering screwups.
That's a good fix dad!! Enjoyed the song and the blooper at the end!!! Made me giggle! 😂
I thought you might get a kick out of the blooper.
😂😂😂 I don't even know why I started this video for😂😂😂🎉
I don’t know either. I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching.
Necessity is the mother of refabrication. Too bad the engineer that drew up the clamp had no idea what it was actually used for. Blessings to you all.
That's the way it goes in most cases. We always used to say, it takes a college degree to break it and high school GED to fix it. Go figure. BTW, we're trying the peppermint soaked cotton ball trick in the camper.
Well done!! See a problem. Come up with a solution. Then sit back and say, "why didn't I do that sooner?" Instead, we let irritation and anger drive us until we take a breath, share whatever Cousin Eddie is on, and come up with a fix. Congrats!!
Actually, I did a similar thing a few months ago and didn’t think to publish it, but yesterday, I ran into the same problem again and took it as a hint that maybe I should make it a video. Cousin Eddie is more like me than I am. Good to hear from you my friend!
Hi Wayne! Good fix. The bloopers are priceless 🤣
I couldn’t pass up this blooper. It was too spontaneously funny to me and totally messed up.
Hey friends! Much love to you all out there. Thanks for being a part of the channel. I look forward to your comments. If you're not a subscriber, you can subscribe now. If you like the video, please give a thumbs up. Stay kind!
Thank you for an amazing lesson. I learned a lot!

Thankyou Wayne
Just note of caution. Since the shooting of that video, Endurance Lights, evidently, went through a hostile takeover and the new company has allowed the products to decline in quality and support. I no longer endorse the product as I did then. There are many similar alternatives available. Good luck to you. Thanks for the kind feedback!
amen brother. . .
Good morning Wayne, that work horse hoss of tractor snapped the big oh power pole like a toothpick. 🎉🎉🎉❤🎉🎉🎉
