you make it look so easy... if you use it every day it becomes second nature... definitely useful knots WP. I used larger split face pulleys for our confined space entry program for ease of setup on the tripod and entry / retrieval device... that little bugger you have is a winner for sure ease of use! thanks for takin us along WP and as always, have a good one and stay safe out there among them trees and such. Good information to have. My Dad taught me the bowlin. "Rabbit goes around the tree, down the hole, around..." "Dad, what rabbit" " "Just pretend THIS is a rabbit". Now see..." " what color is the rabbit" " It doesn't matter. Now see, it goes round the tree..." " Doesn't look like a tree, does it?" Just pretend. The rabbit goes down the hole..." " A snake. It looks like a snake. Why is it going down the hole?". "Is it supper time? I think Mom is calling. Let's put the snake away for later"
@WaynePolcin I can't see you splitting all your fire wood with a double blade axe, so I thought you might illustrate some of your techniques. Oh, yeah, that's a nice dog run you put up for Maverick
He stays on the property, but when I can’t see him, I get nervous. He’s still a puppy and prone to distractions from things like squirrels and such. I don’t like to take chances.
@tamiduda4660 the weather has been unbelievable to this point. We got our first rain in three weeks today. Spring and fall are my favorite times of year so whenever I get extra days I feel like I’m in heaven. I hope you’re well and all prepared for winter!
