No more flailing tail on the strap end! Awesome WP! And the wind up to store the strap end, yes we needed another ratchet strap video 🎉. Have a good one and howdy to Suz the Q! Hope you had a pleasant ride!

Gosh darn it all, moofdogg. If anybody can lift me up out of a down-and-out mood, you certainly can! Suz-the-Q made it home safely and she says Scout was excellent on roadway (she doesn't ride the roads often). Take care my good friend!

Good morning Wayne, this was an interesting and informative video. I never thought of securing the strap for storage that way. I noticed you secured the loose end when transporting the ladder when putting the light from a stupid place to a beneficial place, like a pole, video. Love you and watch out for more videos to come. ❤🎉❤

Wow. You have a good eye, Terry. I had to think hard to remember that part in the video. I hope you have a great day today. Love you too my friend!

Interjection, Exterjection 😂 You finally solved an issue for me. I never know how to start the end of the strap into the windlass. NOW I do! Sweet. Love you both, peace.

Have to admit this is the first ratchet strap video I have ever seen. Watched the whole thing looking for a new and improved manner of using and storing these narvelous devices. Sorry to admit that after all those years of packing/unpacking military pallets and stowing straps, I saw nothing new. But, it was good watching a friend instructing maybe the one person who now has a neatly wrapped strap (or 2) in the bag . Altho, the military seldom does the half twist action preferring the flat, neat look. So do truckers. Good video, my friend!!

Well, they do say you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Not because they can't learn, but because they already know all the new tricks, haha! Although, the half twist is effective at damping vibration, I never worry about it because my trips are too short to be a worry. It's great to hear from you, Mike, as always. Thanks for being here with me on the channel. I would love to visit with you sometime. Stay kind!

@@WaynePolcin i will say that the manner to secure the loose end was new to me this old dog.

Not a ratchet strap, but we would always twist the straps that held our bimini top in place. Without the twist they would start to humm very loudly. Loud enough to be noticeable over the boat’s engine noise

I’m glad to hear you say that. Some say it doesn’t make a difference, but as you have found, I also have noticed a difference in vibration.
