    I have two burning questions about UE. Say you run the Mannequin across a landscape, perhaps of your own making or maybe it isn't, and you record it. Question #1- In the strictest sense, have you just created an animation? and Question #2- Since you recorded it not using chemicals or film, is this considered to be a video since all recordings online are videos? Tell me what you think.

    So having separate landscape layers is fine, but mostly commonly people use auto landscapes, in which case you just get a 1 in Auto and 0 in the other layers. Any ideas how to work around that?

      You can totally do it without Dash I would probably use the foliage painter function to scatter stuff inside. It is built into Unreal Engine

    Is this really a better optimization than using culling distances on the mesh? Personally I'd feel a lot safer knowing the overhead of spawning was a one-time payment. The thought of running a real-time pcg in a production game that is frame sensitive seems like a bad idea to me.

    You can create multiple outputs. Just add a pin in output node. Also loops are not supposed to use like this. They iterate on data sets not the data (points, primetives etc.) inside the data set. By using partition node, you basically group the points to different data sets. Then the loop works.

    all week I have been trying to find a tutorial that I can fully follow using 5.5.1 and failed to do so. you would think that the unreal engine would have provided some glint of beginner tutorials AND the meshes and textures that you need to do a tutorial unless they ONLY WANT PEOPLE TO TRY. IMHO this is entire run around is nothing short of a gigantic CLUSTER F^%K

    You have it mixed up. Spatial is the space divided and Temporal ist the multiplier by time.

    So does Unreal unable to have multiple cameras set up and just the animation runs and then you can just render from the different cameras? I just think of how in Max or Maya you just set up cameras and then render from this camera or that certain frames? Thanks for the video

    Hey Aziel, I really like your clear to follow tutorials, really clear and concise. Please could you make a video on the best way to setup files and folders with assets in so that you don't have a project with loads of unwanted stuff in there. I want to combine a load of assets that I bought from the Fab store to make my own project with art styles that match but I don't want to have a load of unnecessary files that may make the project to big to load or slow it down. Can you show the best way and best practise to combine 5 or 6 asset sets, like trees, rocks, water, building components example.. ?

    Thank you very much for your video; it's truly amazing! I have a small question: I’ve generated a very, very, very large terrain, and I want the PCG to cover it entirely, which I’ve done. However, when I’m in the editor or even in-game and move very quickly in the area-even very high above my landscape but still within the PCG volume-my FPS drops from 100 to 5, haha. I imagine that as I move, the PCG generates a lot of points because I’m using runtime generation. How can I optimize this? In my case, if I’m flying a plane in my game, since the plane moves fast, I get 5 FPS, which isn’t very playable, haha.

    Is there a way to give your intersection mesh sockets where a road length should attach, and have the load lengths snap to the socket? I’ve been a road blueprint tool on the market place ‘eye drop’ the intersection (which has sockets placed) and the road snaps to that point. That example wasn’t using PCG, though.

    Hi! i'm looking for the trees you use in PCG, but when i saved them in the library and decided to add them to my project. but it showed me that they are not supported for version 5.5.1. is it possible to import them differently?

      If you open them through Fab, you should be able to add them just as a different engine version. Or you can migrate them from an older project
