Can you tell me I know how to change the stick shift boot cover but I’m just now looking at the one that I ordered on Amazon it’s coming with a round topped of the boot but on the SS stick shift it’s not round is more like a squish, so I’m wondering if it will still fit I guess I won’t know until it comes and I try to install it

I've rebuilt a ton of these over the past couple decades. I usually found "misplaced" blue spacers/cushions that had simply worn out, few cracked solder joints but typically pretty simple. Probably have 10 or so 3 + 4 buttons laying around. Swapped thru a few earlier after swapping front vac switch. Doesn't make a difference in my truck (astro t case) so full time awd (99 ZR2) lol but cane across then digging thru my S10 bins looking for an inner tie rod stash . Neat video, can't help but click on anything 2nd gen. I'd watch an oil change video ; but I got the bug back in the early 90s with an S15 and haven't gotten off this train 😂❤

wow! i have the same issue with my blazer. the lights only work intermittently but i thought it was related to the actuator being bad but when i replaced it the lights it still didnt work. thank you! going to resolder my now 😅

Can u show behind the factory foglight button wire connection comes from ive got the wires that t off from plug by the steering box and under the hood the 15 amp fuse and both relays that are for foglights im gettin a oem button from ebay im just havin a hard time tryin to find the plug that connects to the factory foglight button is located at

Did you connect both big wire harness clamps inside center console? And exactly which wire clip Did you connect the original traction / lighter wire clip to on the new gauge wiring Thank you

Is there an actual drain plug at the front , under all the water hoses ? Perhaps this particular engine has that ? Can i just remove hoses at the front to achieve the same

So how did you remove the clip.

The real problem with this method is it is unlikely the anti freeze ever gets into the block as the thermostat will be closed and all your anti freeze is going through the bypass and out the manifolds. If you really want anti freeze in it pull the thermostat and pour it in that way.

My '04 forester xt would/does spray out at times between the turbo inlet pipe and engine block, had a hard time diagnosing exactly what it was and didn't happen all the time and only experienced slight coolant loss. Took it to the mechanic who determined this was the issue, but due to suspected head gasket failure didn't want to just replace these O-rings and not the gaskets which I appreciated if I would end up returning in a few months time to get the gaskets replaced. Here I am 6 months later and the head gaskets need replacing amongst other issues, $6-8K (AUD) quoted :(

This video literally came across my feed the other day and I had to replace my knock sensor what a lifesaver so much easier took literally 10 minutes

The first time I did this I said I would never do it again. I had no lift. But I learned two tricks that made the second time a breeze. 1. Break that bracket off by bending back and forth.(I didn't want to mess with factory torque. 2. And most important, put long top bolt into starter before stabbing. Second time took me maybe an hour r&r.

some insist that after this, you drain it out of the drain plugs...which makes no sense. why use antifreeze, if you are just going to drain it out?

I think I burnt a valve too because I already changed coil and plugs. And my plugs were covered in oil and burned one end

For the bumper plastic thing you screwed in I used JB plastic weld works great!

Think a center cluster from a 13 Zl1 would work in a 2014 1ss?

If you have a lift and power tools, yeah go from the bottom… otherwise go through the top

A warning to those looking to change their starter. Don't do it this way. It's stupidly difficult. Pull the manifold. It's way easier and faster.

smart man. lots of nifty lil things like not using the biggest tool you have. my 05 2.0x is leaking alot of coolant. in 2 weeks those o rings pour out like 2 liters...need to top of every couple days. was scared it was the hg but looks more liko those skinny o rings

Tried this on an 05 CRV. Hardest thing ever on a car ive done. So tight and you can’t see what you’re doing.

Lmao you guys did your steps wrong. 1. Drain plugs Drain all water from plugs (there’s 4) 2. Hoses Unclamp water hoses, empty beat you can’t 3. Run antifreeze (6-8 gallons) Then leave it. Don’t drain
