Nice stove - but there's one HUGE issue. It does NOT have a stove pipe damper, and it NEEDS one. This will not only prevent the flames from reaching up into the stove pipe - which is VERY dangerous, but it will also cut down drastically on your wood usage.

Can I ask. Does the passenger seat fold flat? I have seen that in the panel van variant the passenger seat can fold flat to give a table

I use a piece of 5 bar Aluminium plate for this stove in my tent.

i found out it still dribbles out on top of your oven cuz the bottom flu pipe goes round the outside of the first bit on your oven top. it happened on my one.

I don’t understand your comment regarding carbon monoxide and shutting the fire down before bedtime. If the stove is allowing carbon monoxide to escape then it is dangerous whether awake or asleep. I would personally have a carbon monoxide alarm in close proximity to the stove just to be safe.

I too have just revisited your video, first found it quite a while ago. I agree this is inspirational ! Can I ask two things ? Firstly what was the impact on car tax and insurance of conversion ? and secondly are you going to post anymore videos of travels/work in the van ? Thank you.

Put a little bit of water in Ash on a rag and should clean that glass right up

I put a little coal in mine on the kindling, then I throw in some logs (not seasoned). I will have to clean the flue regularly. I’m not paying for wood and coal will make unseasoned wood burn. It doesn’t smoke much as long as you keep it burning hot.

Hi Andy, I watched this video 5 years ago and it was the first time I'd even heard of the NV200. After gradually watching them come down in price I finally travelled the length of the UK to pick up an awesome wee Combi last week, and I love it. Will be rewatching all of your videos for inspiration as I begin converting it to my own personal adventure-mobile. Cheers!

be careful buddy theres been alot of complaints about that double wall flu pipe as in it gets to hot and melts the silicon collar.

How much is it ?

That is a very nice stove. My only problem with it, is it has no stovepipe damper, which is hugely important for shutting down a stovepipe fire. The front air intake damper will take a very long time to affect the fire. My mother has a wood stove, and keeps fire extinguishing logs at the ready, just in case. They came in handy once. I do like that this stove has an oven. I'd highly recommend seeing if it's possible to replace the doorlatch handles with the coil type handles that don't get as hot. Thanks for sharing this. :)

Ummm if you cannot keep this running overnight than this stove is completely useless, I would say?? 🙂

I am literally about to take early retirement and want an NV200 for this very purpose, getting out and about and having some creature comforts for my wife and I. I will likely look at a pre-converted van with a r&r bed, a bit of a squeeze for two, but you video's have supported our decision on the base vehicle. Thank you so much and I hope you are still enjoying the open travelling this type of vehicle offers. Thank you for sharing.
