King of Kpop for 6 years in a row. He is the Face of Kpop. Coincidentally his 1st album is called FACE. You may not have not heard about Jimin because your algorithm is not picking him up. Why? Jimin does not do collabs with any big western acts and most of his stuffs are in Korean. Only WHO is an exception. WHO is at #4 on Global Spotify on its 9th day. It was at #1 for 20 days. WHO is also at #28 on Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. No other kpop act whether BTS or solo acts, hasvy achieved these feats of staying afloat very long despite heavily promoted. Jimin is killing it without any payola or promotion. The boy is doing his military service now. He and Jungkook enrolled together under the BUDDY system. My guess is because Jimin has anxiety (not official, from my observations) having someone he is close with will put him more at ease. He is doing very well, graduated #1 among all the new recruits (yea beating Jungkook) and then he went in to complete the toughest military programme in the miltary and has been awarded "Special Warrior of South Korea" title. Our boy is not only a singer and dancer but legit certified warrior. Jimin has a black belt in taekwondo and well versed in other martial arts as well.

No it's not a sound track for a movie the video is bascially saying he's not concerned with whatever is going wild mayhem around him his fixed on finding the girl so he can give her everything.

There are little nuggets in the MV like the name of the record shop, the words above the cinema both to do with his solo songs. It was cold he filmed it in Europe winter time last year before he started his military service thing is Jimin, Jungkook, V and RM all filmed a MV each in Europe with V and RM did there MV's here in the UK and I recognised the cafe in V's MV's which was the Ace Cafe in London. Appear's they all wanted to film outside of South Korea for a change. Oh yes Jimin recorded a live version with the chore for the Jimmy Fallon Show (Jimmy is a big fan of BTS) in an abandon (think indoor sports centre) and parts of the roof were missing so the rain came in and there are puddles on the floor were Jimin is singing and dancing Live.

You were asking why you hadn't heard BTS before, they have done numerous world tours at the largest venues, stadiums, but the US music industry would rather you didn't listen to their music because they aren't making money off BTS. In the past there was all that chatter that Kpop was for teenage screaming girls, and guys would make it like a badge of honour that they hated BTS and had never listened, also the radio stations didn't play their music because they refused to pay for plays. Once someone takes a chance with BTS music they are usually swept up into the Army. RM and Suga the othe rappers are hip hop too, as well as J Hope.

America is so far behind the rest of the world in appreciating BTS. For some reason they can't get airplay on our radios. I don't know if it is a money thing or if someone thinks that Americans can't bear to hear songs in Korean. Since BTS all needed to do their national service in Korea, the BTS members all worked on solo projects for 2023 since some members went into the military earlier than others. Jimin released two albums, Face and Muse. I suggest Augst D (Suga) 'Snooze' from his D-Day album. RM has some terrific work out, Right Place, Wrong Person and V with a bluesy album, Layover. All different, all good. Jin released The Astronaut (collab w/Coldplay) right before entering the military. He's out now, doind a variety show, and will be releasing a solo album. J-Hope will be out in October, the rest in June 2025. SInce BTS debuted in 2013, they have been at the top of the industry for a while, many albums, multiple stadium tours etc.

You can never go wrong with a bts solo or group song. They always nail it.
