Is there anywhere to see this truck/setup without the 0.5 camera effect?
Need this but all polish
Cool
It's sweet. I gotta do my K30.
Nice
I was always hesitant about using a 208.. even though I really like them.. just because most people don't use them!! Now im not afraid to use a 208.. since i wont be rock crawling etc. So cool to see how easy this SAS is done!! Im leaning toward finding a 2wd 88-98 crew cab dually 454 manual.. not a square body i know.. but like your red truck.. too cool!! GM single 1 ton diffs are so much cheaper! And long bed single wheel beds are fairly readily available
@@highcountrystories the 208 is a good case it just has its horsepower limits. Glad the video helped !
Clean square body
How much?
Beautiful truck
It's a v10 if it's an 87 isn't it.
@@robertkirkpatrick75 you are correct but we list the 4wd as a k10 from 73-87 in our post as most people know them by that for the most part . When you have a little more knowledge on them knowing in 87 they changed to a “V” series in the 4x4 and a “R” series in the 2wd we know you are in the right place ! thanks for watching!
Thanks for responding. Love the content. I have an 87 v10 I'll be bringing you from east tn for some work in the spring
Beautiful!
K10 short bed is next up for me as well my man
If you guys and gals haven’t done business with this man and his family you don’t know what your missing 💯 I stop shop and get it right the first time

You just walk under it to do an oil change.
Damn that's pretty. But my short legs need a side step.
Best video out there on this mod
Thank you and thanks for watching !
Always bad ass trucks
Thanks for sharing my man
Nice looking truck👍🏻
Does it have a 2 piece driveshaft if so did you have to do anything to the carrier
@@nickygray4691 yes this truck still has a 2 piece rear shaft. We changed the carrier bearing crossmember to lower it down from its original location. If you are in the range of 4-8” or lift you can get away with cutting the original perch style mount and just lower it down and re weld to keep it on top of the crossmember , but if you go bigger like 10-12” lift you need to get the driveshaft around the center of the crossmember or even below it which will require to cut the whole center out and re make it or completely remove the crossmember and make a new one for the bearing .
Beautiful truck🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
What is that magical tool you are using to cut the front plastic? Looks like a mini reciprocating saw.
@@lad60606 that’s is correct. Snap On air saw
👍
That’s what I’m lookn for! Love that root beer color
Had a ford with that door buzzer a while back, after the third day I got up under the dash and stuck a knife through it. Best mod i did to that truck
Love the color . Nice truck
beautiful truck. I have a 85 diesel in the same color. not nearly as nice though
Sound great

My cousin has a K5 blazer fully restored with a i think 12" suspension lift on 1 tons with 44 boggers with 20x14 wheels
How does it perform with the 245x65x17
I have this same set up, dropped the pressure down to empty on the spare and got it in there. I carry an air compressor and works fine, didn't need to bolt it down and stays wedged in there good. If you wrap it up to keep it from making noise, you can put the jack below the tire to use the space. Ended up putting on Vredestein Pinza AT, no need for heat molding the wheel wells either.
Hmm I'm in eastern Kentucky and there aint any decent shops close by that'll do lifts and work as your shop does. Might have to make a 7 hour drive to yall lol
Cool Suburban. 👍🏻👍🏻
All that and a biscuit
Yes please yes please 🙏
I gotta have a set of those steps 💯
Thanks for sharing
What wheel are those?
Cool video, the motor mount bit is gonna save me a lot of work.
@@notherestillnothing yes that will put you way ahead and really solves the issue for having a full donor vehicle on hand to take the factory crossmembers and mounts out of. Glad the video helped out !
@ Ive been planning on this conversion for a few years and your video has the most info and seems to be the most efficient way of doing it. Thanks
Hey guys- love your channel- great work 🤙🏻 would really appreciate a bit more information on changing the front axle- shackle mount position- Are those measurements you quote in the video your standard for getting a better shackle angle ?. I’m doing a V30 crew cab with all factory mounts and I’m about to mount the shackle hangers - thanks Na keep the videos coming please 💪🏻
@@jesdowns7085 factory measurement from front spring to upper shackle hanger is right at 47.25” center to center , spring eyes are supposed to be 47” center to center ,It all depends on the spring you plan on running the smaller the spring the less you move the shackle mount forward so if you were running a 4 to 6 inch spring, we would typically move the shackle hanger .25-.50” inch forward because it doesn’t require as much to get the shackle at a good angle. As the spring gets bigger like 8 inch and 12 inch springs we start to move the shackle hanger forward upwards of 1 inch due to the arch in the springs creating a bad angle on the shackle the bigger the spring the worse it gets normally. This also differs by brand of spring as well. keeping the shackle straight up and down or slightly pitched back at the spring end lets the shackle move back at an easier rate and gives a smoother ride and suspension travel. Unfortunatley this is a one shot deal to drill the hole and set the mount unless you slot the frame so I would recommend mounting the front of the springs and the axle to the springs. Lowering the vehicle down and let the shackle end of the spring ride on the frame and see where it ends up resting once the weight is completely on them with motor and drivetrain in the vehicle . This will give a really close idea to where it will end up once the shackle is mounted. The only thing you don’t want to do is mount the shackle upper mount to far forward especially on a c/k30 chassis as the frame swells down right after the shackle and if you have to much lay back on your shackle the spring will end up contacting the frame when the suspension flex’s down on bumps etc. thanks for watching !
@ thanks so much for taking the time to give such a good reply - you guys are rad Builders 🤙🏻🤙🏻
@@jesdowns7085 we appreciate the support!
Would be nice if you clarified the exact offset of the wheel.. instead of just calling it a “negative offset”.. is it -10, -12, -18.. th thanks.
@@dustyhiebert5748 the Fuel Twitch wheel is built in a 20x10 with a -18 offset.
Did you use the Baja Designs Wiring? I'm struggling to find a good way through the firewall into the vehicle. Any tips!?
Dang I'd take that in a Chevy heartbeat ❤❤❤❤❤
