Im gonna be doing a solid axle swap on my obs but i wanted it to sit at 6-8 inches of lift what would be recommended cause its my work truck and im running 37s on it
I see that you used degree wedges on the front axle to turn it upwards for the driveshaft angle on the Gen-4 truck. What do you do for the caster angle when you use those degree wedges to turn the front diff upwards?
@@christophersanders5007 the degree shims are actually in the front to bring the caster into spec. Since this truck has custom brackets to hang the leaf springs under the front , the location of the front mount and the shackle mount which is lower than the front mount dictates the caster angle of the axle that was not originally in the truck . This truck has a high pinion king pin 60 in the front . It does not need the shims for the driveshaft to be functional although it does take some angle off of it. Thanks for watching !
I’m happy for you brother 💯 awesome 😎

I have a 2000 3/4 ton obs 4 door shortbed you gonna come out with a s.a.s swap kit.
No current plans to come out with a solid axle swap kit for these trucks, but we will have some accessories in the works for them.
Hopefully in the future yall come up with plans an where to weld an drill for springs. Thank you.
