I’m 42 and my white hairs are just now coming in. My mom went white in her late 20s. She’s 60 now, and up until recently, she’s been chasing her roots with dye. So, because of her, I have absolutely no interest in coloring my hair EVER. However, will take care of my white hair, and make sure it’s healthy as it can be. I wonder what my pattern will be ❤

Ppl have been showing some form of PTSD in ways where they have just lost their sense of humor while others have become immersed into self improvement with more appreciation for life.It’s as if our world got split into to parallel societies.I’ve been embracing my gray curls and liking it.Channel just subbed!

I saw my first strand of silver, when I was 16 years old, then I started to dye my hair, after years of dying my hair, I reach a point where I can no longer use permanent colours, due to irritation and allergies, so I continue with semi permanent colours, I just recently stopped dying my hair for about two months now, I love the silver, but I hate the process, my sailt and pepper is not very even,so I have this silver crown mix with black and dry and brassy end, and I'm truly fighting the battle of not dying my hair or should I. You are the best I've heard. I'm suffering with using wrong products and got some greenish in the gray/ white of my long hair. Now what to do. I was red/ copper color originally. Now that I had the ends bleached I had some yellow strands. Purple shampoo doesn't do much. Then I used semi permanent color and got the green. Tried to remove that didn't work. Now what?

Because of you I finally bit the bullet and bought this on Amazon. I was hesitant because I absolutely hate the feeling of product in my hair. Especially now that I’m salt and pepper and I’m still trying to figure out if I’m high or low porosity. So far so good 👍🏼

Can it remove clairol semi-permanent that has left yellowish stain over gray?

Very informative thank you. I have gorgeous long dark salt and pepper hair apart from a band of white all around the face and I hate it. When I use purple shampoo it colours the white hair differently as it's going on to a white base.

I am now a year and 7 months, almost grown out, my hair is just below shoulders, just had about 5 inches cut off, but I did it! used tru-hair concealer for roots, but my hair was a medium blonde and used blonde and light brown tru-hair for roots! Now I still use a light brown or white tru- hair as a high lighter, all i can say is you find your white hair almost looks like white blonde or platinum quite beautiful and sexy! You will see you look just as good as you did when you colored your hair! That's what i learned! I have to say I never got negativity from people only positive remarks like, it looks good, and hair colorists telling me " leave it alone, don't touch it! So in the end of your journey, you might just love it, as i am learning to do, it is pretty, I will give you that! Good luck to all you ladies, you just might love it! Love, wendy

I'm 68(69). My dark blonde hair just blends a little more and a little more, but my mother didn't go totally grey until her late 80s!

But your hair is mostly dark with gray highlights. How do you achieve the dark if your hair is gray.

Anyone stressing out over gray hair is unintentionally being very ungrateful. If your hair is long and thick and shiny like hers, celebrate it regardless of what color it is!!! One day when it's thin or falling out you'll be wishing you were happier when it was just gray.

At what age were you emotionally ready to begin this journey? I'm afraid to begin and then take a step back because of social pressure, you know what I mean.

Your grey hair really suits you. It looks beautiful. It's not true that it makes people look old. It doesn't make you look any older and it doesn't make me look any older either. It's just a colour! And personally I think grey and silver hair can look stunning! I would never go back now.

Thank you. I thought the same thing about dying my hair for my job interview. This position is for an older person, so they know I'm not young. If I get the job, I don't want to dye all the time bc it requires traveling to remote areas.

I've just started 2 months ago and also have long hair and sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and it really looks bad as I have black hair but I've been told from my friends it's not bad at all. They say the silver looks freeky in a good way, something different, they say they love it so I'am just going to go with the flow😁

I have to thank you for your extremely helpful and yes, sometimes comforting videos. It's Saturday afternoon in NYC and I have been using a gentle serum clarifying cleanser in between co- wash conditioning cleansers. I was looking in the mirror with the sun beaming on my hair and I noticed that the brown ends were even brassier than before I started using the clarifying treatment. I've been using a purple conditioner on both my silver roots and brown ends every time that I wash my hair. Do you have any suggestions for a more effective product. Any suggestions? By the way, your hair looks absolutely amazing!!! I've been following you on your gray hair journey since the beginning. Thank you for the inspiration and advice!!❣

This is the problem I’m having. I live in south Texas and the water is so hard. I’ve tried the Sally Beauty Ion Hard Water shampoo and it was gross in my hair. I’ve been natural for 8 years now dye free and maybe 25% gray wavy hair. I can’t tell if I have low porosity because anything I put on it whether conditioner or stylers they feel like they sit on top of my hair and makes it feel dry and frizzy looking. Or do I have high porosity hair idk it’s just so confusing. OR is it the ridiculous hard water 😢

Been grey for 2 years salt and pepper.very long and I'm loving it. Never have had any yellow ever. My mum had the most beautiful grey hair and shinning. This is ridiculous saying we need to use things for grey hair 😮😮
