all of that information is clearly stated in the instructions to every common hair dye remover i've come across so far. it seems tho that most people don't know that hair colour often does have lifting elements in them though, and that combined with not reading instructions/warning labels properly often results in "oh god, my hair!". just please read the whole info pamphlet coming with your products, people 🙏
I have to thank you for your extremely helpful and yes, sometimes comforting videos. It's Saturday afternoon in NYC and I have been using a gentle serum clarifying cleanser in between co- wash conditioning cleansers. I was looking in the mirror with the sun beaming on my hair and I noticed that the brown ends were even brassier than before I started using the clarifying treatment. I've been using a purple conditioner on both my silver roots and brown ends every time that I wash my hair. Do you have any suggestions for a more effective product. Any suggestions? By the way, your hair looks absolutely amazing!!! I've been following you on your gray hair journey since the beginning. Thank you for the inspiration and advice!!❣
Thank you. I knew it wouldn't be that easy ahaha. My hair is grey, silver and white, lucky me. I used demi but since the hair shaft is pretty empty, the color never actually fades out.
Might the results depend on the type of hair dye and developer they have used? I’m 5 months into my transition after years of using only demi permanent with 10 vol. The demi isn’t fading as well as I hoped, so I may do a strand test with color remover in a few weeks.
It's possible. I would definitely do a strand test. But trust me when I say that any hair color you have on there is going to fade eventually. It will turn brassy. Check out my video about overtone to help with the brassiness.
Hey, how are you? I came across your video. Thank you for sharing. I have a question for you. My natural hair color is gray. I dyed my hair black I wanna go back to my natural color hair. It looks something like yours. What do you suggest I do I just wanna go back to my natural color hair, which is gray. I’m 43 years old and I don’t wanna dye my hair anymore can I do this? Thank you, appreciate you
I'm sorry this happened to you. I am worried about damage as well, being grey hair is a bit more fragile already. I hope you found a solution to soften it up again.
Ok. I’ve never dyed my hair and at 76 have watched my hair slowly turn grey. But it’s taking damn long and it’s no longer interesting. I want some help going full on grey but can’t find any tips on this. All the talk is about stopping dying your hair. Help! I’ve never been to a hairdresser, use a Flowbee.
Most of my audience wants to stop repeatedly doing things to their hair. Toner will fade out fast and you'll be left with fried hair. That's why I'm telling people this.

In almost all cases one needs to use remover several times- drying hair in and of itself. Condition, then bleach… otheewise

Can it remove clairol semi-permanent that has left yellowish stain over gray?
Your hair is beautiful colour. The only problem I have is I can't use straighteners on my hair as told hair would go brassy, and I have thick hair.

Why im gonna use a developer, shampoo and soda mix after the color opps. 😂
Didn't remove any hair dye and it damaged my hair. Also left a chemical smell

What if I put in Overtone?
I used overtone to tin the brassy dyed ends of my hair. Worked perfectly for me!

Just tone it after lol. Not sure why you are telling people this. It's not hard to use a toner after.
