I'm not an artist but i got my first reborn in august of 2022. I love him so much he helps me with anxiety and depression but in february of this year his paint got ruined by my friends little cousin with real baby food that stained his mouth his mouth is now orange and paint is off on his lips inside his mouth and his chin i contacted his artist but sadly wasnt able to fix him i was a little upset but ive gotten used to ir now i just wish he was able to be fixed

This is exactly what I was looking for lol, my first baby has been sitting for a few days waiting for me to varnish her but I was hesitant to proceed just yet because of the mixed differing reviews I have seen out there on how people have varnished!

Thanks for the tips, I have a reborn with down syndrome (reborn baby patience awake but I renamed her Stellen) that I've always wanted to take her on outings but I worry for all the "Karen's" out there who would comment on my "baby," plus I'm only 17, but doing outings takes away my stress.

If my neighbors can walk their dogs while they push their cats in a stroller, I think I will be able to overcome and walk with my Reborn.

I really wanted to take my reborn doll out but I felt nervous that I would run into someone I know or someone from school so I just brought her but left her In the car and makes sure she was hidden (edit I don’t care if anyone sees her in the car but I just want her to stay hidden

I painted two of them.I made one a girl and one a boy that was my first time trying to paint a doll.

You rooted their eye lashes on their eyelids beginners seem to make that boo boo just so know

Good morning🌹 how are you I just wanted to come on and thank you so much for the demonstration of the different varnish I was so frustrated using the other Varnish it left a smooth finishing but in some spots it took off some of the paint 😪 I was taking the paint off using the Mona Lisa thinner I truly thank you for this video I tried it on my Reborn last 🌃 night after watching your 🎥 video👏🏼👏🏼 I did the process leaving it on overnight with the satin varnish when I woke up I noticed it was chalky looking I was wondering did it suppose to look like that but I trust the process put it in the NEU Wave oven 😀👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I am so happy😀 it turned out so beautiful💞💞 God bless you for sharing your demonstration it was needed👍🏼

have you tried saragala matte varnish yet?

I used a matte varnish and it turned out sticky. It is something from Joannes fabrics It's an acrylic air dry and I painted it right onto clean vinyl before painting and it was sticky after two months and two rounds of baking

I’m a brand new beginner to reborning, and I can’t thank you enough for unselfishly sharing this information. Quick question... Have you ever tried mixing the Glaze medium with the Matte medium to create a dewy finish? I may have to experiment with that to see how it turns out.
