Clay is an amazing ambassador to the craft. Beautiful build.

I think everyone loses sight of the fact that he did all this LONG before anyone ever head or even conceived of 3d printing. Those pieces are machined, carved or cast from scratch by hand. Of course I know better, he has a shrink Wray.

I believe he still has his Fotki site with all his build progress shots and captions. He is beyond amazing!

Mr. Batson, I built this model car in 1969 ! (I'm 66) This was, and still is my FAVORITE, the only one I remember building out of so many at that time. It was 6th grade and our new 6th grade teacher Mr. Simpson, was into hot rods. Down the street from the rural Catholic school I went to, every week, a couple of brave classmates would collect our money and escape through the woods, run down to the Mom + Pop Hobby store at the corner quarter mile away, buy as many as 8-10 boxes and glues, and paint's, and run back before lunch recess was over. I volunteered to make that run a few times. Getting caught by the nun's was deadly in 1969. They would take the entire shipment, never to be seen again. But, back to the Phone Booth Hot Rod. Was just doing a google search and found this. So glad other's can see what a great build and oddity this Model was. Thank's !.. Memories...ahhh

👍He does excellent work. His brass fabrication is a great tutorial. Another favorite of mine is A4 Garage. His hinge work is hard to rival. You’re no slouch either.😁👏👏

Well Clay like you said does the decals for Salvinos JR and they are with out a doudt hands down spot on. And your right I have never seen this build wow what a build . Thanks for the look enjoyed looking forward to the next one .Prays to you and Amanda
