Great idea Mark. I never would have thought that contour gauge could be used as a modeling tool.
Thanks brother!! I agree!
Three shows, one in my birthday, one on my anniversary , and one on my daughter’s birthday , all only 2000 miles away!
Thanks brother!! First of all an early HAPPY BIRTHDAY my friend!

Thank you Tom!! Appreciate ya buddy!
Hi Mark, Thanks for sharing the great shows. If you happen to be in the DFW area Sept 21st, Dedicated Scale Enthusiast Magazine is hosting their dedicated super show. This is one of the two shows I really really intend to go to as it's in my back yard and is hosted by people or groups I'm associated with. The contour gauge looks really cool. I need to get me one of those. Very cool clear cases. They are a lot clearer than the little cheapo $7 hobby lobby specials I use. Those little 32nd scale wheels look tiny.
Thank you very much brother!! I’ll check the calendar! Can you send any info on the show? Rules, forms, etc?
Either way I can give give it a shout.
Thanks for watching!
They have them at Home Depot and Lowes, at least here in eastern PA. And they are the General brand and metal. I've used one for years for home repair and it wasn't until I watched one of your videos, a while back, that I saw you use one for model building. I wanted to kick myself for never thinking about using it for model building, duh! It worked great on my '40 Ford build a few years ago.
Many thanks my friend!! Appreciate you sharing where we can find the contour gauge! (I don’t have a clue where I got mine. LOL)
Have an awesome and blessed weekend!!
Some cool stuff there, Mark. Thanks for sharing the tips with the contour gage. I don't have one but I will be picking one up.
Thank you Chuck!! Appreciate it buddy!! Have fun!
Very cool thanks for sharing 🏁🙂
Thank you my friend!!

I’ve already got my vacation in for ACME in October! I keep checking their website for updates (especially host hotel room discounts), but nothing yet. Gonna have at least a couple of models built for it. Peace and love.
Thank you brother!! Doing the same thing for ACME. Planning, working, and checking the host hotel! lol Have an awesome week!!
It’s great to see information on model shows. As of right now, I’m going to the show in Salem, VA (near Roanoke) in August, and then Atlanta in October. The small block Ford from MCV Products is a nice engine. I have one that I plan to use in the near future. Right now, I’m debating what model to use it in. Countour gauges are just awesome. I use mine frequently. Thanks for sharing.
Many thanks brother!! See you at ACME! Have fun in Salem!
Great how to.they have the one your using in Amazon for about $7.00.
Going to order one
Thank you Ian!! You’ll really like the contour gauge! Sure makes scratch building a lot easier and quicker! Have fun!!
