Airsoft BBs does not run down the roof of barrels.

Please, if you found this vid worth while, share it with a buddy 👍 The increase in accuracy of lapped barrels, Can be contributed to the incresed “evenness” of the bore Down the lenght of the barrel, so lapping still has its place in Airsoft, no doubt

One of the new Long maple leaf aeg barrels: www.taiwangun.com/inner-barrel/640mm-6-02-inner-barrel-for-aeg-maple-leaf?from=related&campaign-id=6 The silicone in maple leaf 2021 is ofc a silicone “alloy”, mixed with eg. Nitrile or SBR rubber. Regular silicone would not be good for bucking application

tbh cyma is just fine people complain about the quality too much like bro do you want a gun you can slam against a wall or something chill lol
That c-clip isn't milled, it's an injection part, what you are seeing is the milling marks from the mould that it is injected into.
Hu guys. Just wanted to give an update on this. I ordered a Mag 7 and used a Maxx hopup assembly with an edgi 7mm window inner barrel. I used this set up on my HK417 DMR. Using 0.43g (BLS), its noticeable improvement in groupings. Range is 60 and 70 meters.
You can talk about whats best or not but the only way to know for sure is to show us comparisons at range in shooting vids.
Instead of grinding down the lip, you could also try to replace/grind the c clip. Some aftermarket clips aren't perfectly compatible with other hop up units. I had the same issue with a plastic hop unit, where the c clip was so wide that it put forward pressure causing the hop unit to compress into the bucking.
Whats the aluminium nub you were using?
I have the CM.045A, and the mag and flash hider doesn’t wobble on mine. However, the stock is a bit loose at the pin, but I fixed it with 2 layers of black electrical tape where it meets the receiver. 70 meters of accuracy is of course a bit of a stretch for almost any airsoft gun. Also I was surprised by the trigger response, mine feels very snappy with a 9.6V NiMH battery. You probably got bad piece, or I got one that’s better than most :D
the test between these bucking never came
Thanks for the great roundup! Wow, that 2021 MR Hop seems to be the winner here; just installed one on my SSG10 with a ML Crazy Jet barrel (fits absolutely perfectly in the window) and I am really looking forward to the next time I use it.
Man upload some more videos please :/ my fav explanation airsoft channel
Ive had terrible luck getting ML buckings to work. Both a Macaron and Mr Hop cause feeding issues in both my M4s eith a couple different barrel and hop up units. Its a shame because when it actually does feed it works great.
I'm assuming you haven't sanded/cut down the bucking lips? ML are known to have really long bucking lips which stick out into the feed tube
@FJE46 I've read about that and didn't want to fool with it so I bought a 4UAD rubber with bucking and it's great with no issues.
I have one, it has been giving me a lot of issues. For example on the short Evo with m125 and 0.25g bb it outputs: CNC unit installed: 0.7~0.8 joules Stock hop-up installed: 1.3~1.4 joules
dont click your tongue its disgusting
what nub did you use on this test brother?
Great content sir.. what inner barrel, hop chamber and rubber do you recommend for the best groupings?
little late to the party i guess but the mr hop is made to work with a concarve nub not a flat one, you are basically wasting 70% of its potential surface area with the bb. at that point might as well flat hop your stock hop up system for 0 bucks
I was under the impression that if your bore is tighter you gain more fps and that pretty much it.
Correct
If you’re on a tight budget with a cheap replica like a cyma, I can see the value in doing this because I doubt the stock inner barrel is free of imperfections. Honestly though an aftermarket barrel is probably the more practical choice, I can’t imagine there is enough of a difference in accuracy to go through all this work at the ranges airsoft play happens.
6.01 for max fps, good nub and hop up bucking and you are good to go 😂
They also jam allot easier than 6.03-6.04 and the accuracy is about the same
@@mattipanduro8583 I have 5-6 PDI 6.01 barrels never had a jam in 10+ years so I cant say I agree with that but yes statistically they are more likely to jam than wider barrels
This was a great video by no means am i new to soldering but I was concerned about he dissipation and heat bothering the battery. You covered both concisely and dropped some great tips!
put the MAG5 Bucking (70°) in my SRS Sniper. Together with a prometheus barrel, I reach with .43g BBs 120m at 150psi with a spread of 30cm. Insane good bucking
useless
bought the full metal body version of this gun, threw a gate aster and a new VFC motor in it and it shoots like a dream.
Hey Reflex are you still there?...
Why not lambda 6.03?
Hey friend, who makes or where i can buy that hop up unit?
Consider keeping your hands out if the canera view - kind of disturbing as they fly around.
Wow! This is a truly professional comparison.
If bore size doesn’t matter then why do you have to change the air pressure behind it?
is the Maple Leaf SUPER Silicone still better, is it the best?
You should never use the iron itself to melt the solder to the connection. The iron should heat the contact surface enough to melt the solder. If you use the iron instead it may not have heated the surface enough to actually adhere. This is how you end up with cold solder joints. To clarify, the only time the solder should directly touch the iron is when tinning the tip to prepare for applying heat. I'm experienced in soldering, I'm just looking for ideas of how to not fry myself accidently while soldering a live power source.
is it possible he didnt do that due to the plastic would melt?
@@JD-cc2qu The plastic will melt if your soldering iron doesnt have enough power (not to confuse with the temperature), so you'll need to apply head to the terminals way too long. If your soldering iron has enough power the terminal heats up quickly and locally and the plactic should not melt. But like Bionic said you heat the surface not the solder. Even with those twisted wires; if you heat the wire and apply the solder on the wire a little below the soldering tip (so not touching the tip) the solder will flow inside the wire easily. But for deans I like to have the wire flat and not twisted so it will be a smaller joint and you use more of the deans terminal as a contact point.
you might cringe so bear in mind I'm just a dummy who know a couple things about a few topics. airsoft replicas are not my wheel house. I do know cars but also paint and reconditioning. again no pro I only know what has worked for me. I would think that spraying silicone to clean a barrel would be a stupid thing. all lube draws dirt and grit. I tr to tell people that but they refuse to listen. alcohol to clean but maybe cringe. I use a series or polish and wax that really has worked for me. nothing life or industry altering but it seems to improve grouping and the consistency. I start with a polish then move to a polymer wax. have you seen this done. it seems that I would be doing a comparable process just using different products, no? thanks for any help. I do it until my clean cotton rags are clean in and coming out.
your accent is perfect. I appreciate the info. much obliged. cheers
Would mag7 work on 1.2J?? Legal limit, but got Prometheus 7mm barrel (reccomendation is 1.3J or up) maybe someone tested already?
I use the MAG7 70° with 0,40g at 1,5j and it runs good but needs more play days.
Great information
I am having an issue where the installed bucking doesn't hold the BB. BB just rolls right through it. What am i doing wrong?
Just depends on the type of bucking
Let’s go honest review
What is the best size of inner barrel for AR /M4 and what difference makes the lenght
What is the best for AR and acuracy ?
how about lambda L1 6.01?
Plz do not get this hop up
Hey bro, greetings to you. Im using Mr. Hop 70 deg right in my HK417 DMR. It shoots great but would like to test out the 7mm Begadi Pro 60 deg. Already have the inner barrel with a 7mm window (500mm x 6.03). Just wanted to know if this will be bstter than my current set-up or will it be worse???
Thanks bud.
my man from the lovely netherlands✊🏾 im comin over from germany 4 to 5 times a year...❤ what im wondering about is, i have 6.00 barrels on all my tm spec glock builds and cant picture the bb not touching the roof of the barrel🤔 i even have old madbull bbs from the early 2000s wich are 5.98mm...hard to grasp that thought of them having a bed of air around them traveling down the barrel.... good video tho
Do these fit zci barrels well they have a 5mm window, am I right in saying I need a fly mag 5?
Yes either a fly/shp 5 or mag/mhp 5
Think about how much better that group would be if you used your sites.
it's had released long time ago........... but with this price it will beat "china" brand :D
Do you know if the mr hop would work fine in a stock Vfc Avalon saber?
I also bought this one and was wondering :)
Very helpful, thank you
Vorsk Eu18 87mm 6.03 I replaced with a lambda 97mm 6.01 & 60° Deceptercon. I lost 5-10fps but my accuracy want right up. The Deceptercon I think was the FPS loss
