I have one, it has been giving me a lot of issues. For example on the short Evo with m125 and 0.25g bb it outputs: CNC unit installed: 0.7~0.8 joules Stock hop-up installed: 1.3~1.4 joules
I've had the exact same problem with mine, a gap between the nozzle and bucking on about 0,5 mm. My solution we're filing down the tappet plate slightly on both ends and now it works wonders even with the Maxx nozzle and ML bucking.
Weird, not say you're wrong but I just swapped out the stock hop with the CNC today and didn't lose any fps. I did switch, at the same time, from the stock rubber to Mapleleaf Macaron, maybe that's the reason?
Mange tak, personlig har jeg skiftet tilbage til standard husene, med maple leaf super macron og omega nubs. Dertil et airtech ehg så hoppen er nemmere at stille. Evoen behøver virkelig ikke mange upgrades, en anden bucking der virker godt er den lilla Prometheus

Du får ca 5-10m øget effektiv range, men præcisionen bliver en hel del bedre end standard. Og ja det er korrekt at airtechen kun gør indstillinger nemmere, specielt med handsker på👍
Hvis jeg skulle udskifte bucking og nub, hvad skulle det så være til ? Skyder 1,47 pt med evo smg. Har rigtig mange .28 kugler , hvorfor de helst ikke skal overhoppe :)
Hi Ray the evo hpa Group on FB is very helpful on this, so Make sure you sign up for that. For the evo I run PDI barrel, ml super macaron, and omega nub, @1.6j 60deg bucking. But be aware, some evo hop units is shaped so that you need to trim the bucking lips a bit, I have a vid on that 👍
I still have hope for the maxx, I absolutely hated both my asg units, both the v1 and v1.1 trust me I have used the time and I want to use maple leaf buckings, but sadly they (asg units) are not the best of pals with ml buckings
Yeah but I feel that, of a asking price like that, it would play Nice with more buckings, a 8£ plastic rotary hop Unit works with more buckings than that

Great to hear, the standard hop unit has even better airseal when using a oring nozzle

Very happy with the CNC hop unit for the Evo, takes time to set up. MAXX hop unity is just a CAD drawing, nothing more.
