Leakers Can NEVER Be Trusted.
Until recently, no one knew who the leaker Midori was. They appeared to be one of the most legitimate sources for insider scoops in the gaming industry. However, controversy would soon cause Midori's reign to come to an abrupt end when they were revealed to be MysticDistance.

Why Isn’t Emulation Normal if It Isn’t Illegal?
มุมมอง 2319 หลายเดือนก่อน
Emulation has always existed through shaky legal ground. It isn't illegal, but it also isn't quite a normal way to experience games. It's become a very popular method of playing older games in recent years, but there's also an uncomfortable discussion surrounding it. Counter-Strike 2 Deleted All of My Achievements...
So I changed the review to not recommended.
Yep, not only it's infuriating how they destroyed CSGO and now us low end PCs enjoyers can't play, but now they even destroyed our achievements 😭
¿Why the OVA was Cancelled? ¿Did Fromsoftware think the Anime could not be well recieved as the Games or the Idea didn't convince them?
The animation studio went bankrupt I'm pretty sure
@@denk3120 ok that's worse, but thanks for the Anwser anyways.
Valve games imo have always had some of the best and most in depth achievements compared to most other games so it was sad to see them just nuke all of CSGOs as well as the game itself which ive been playing since I was 11
As a company, I think it could be a genuine marketing strategy to intentionally leak info about your upcoming games in order to add more drama and interest around it, and I wonder if any major company has tried that before. There've always been rumors of leaks being "intentional" but as far as I can tell there've been no concrete examples
This was basically a theory I entertained before Midori went beyond Sega/Atlus coverage. When you think about it, it would be quite similar to utilizing ARGs for marketing purposes.
@@ItchHeSay Yeah, essentially an ARG but the players don't know it's an ARG because it presents itself as a real leak
nice video, subbed.
should have known
It's been a while, but I'm glad to be back! I intended to upload this video well over a week ago, but other things got in the way. The script is from shortly after the true identity of Midori was exposed, so that's why I didn't include anything about Pyoro. This will likely be one of the few times I ever talk about drama on this channel. If you liked the video, please consider subscribing for my content on video games.
imagine shadow just saying 'sonic shut the f*** up'
Roms are better. I'm not paying those game devs if it's available for free.
Game kinda easy bruh the encounter design is like u walk and you face an enemy, you walk some more another enemy. Is just weak doesn't really challenge
I did a capacity build 😂😂 Jk quality build, I love this game
I hate playing motivity in lies of p
La verdad menos mal no lo juegue en sus inicios, estaría hecho mierda con los logros eliminados.
this is a video one would expect from a big channel, this is a great video
wekk made video glad YT recommended it
If Nintendo ever loses this battle, I think the scene would be better for it. Good video.
No, modern gaming isn't terrible. It's like saying burgers have gotten terrible because of McDonald's. Get a burger at local place for a good burger. And get away from the AAA McGames and buy smaller independent games if you want a good game.
The biggest problem with Lies of P is the title. When it came out on Game Pass I had never heard of it before launch and quickly brushed it off because of the silly title. I'm not a big fan of soulslikes or the Dark Souls games personally so it just didn't pull me in enough to disregard the goofy title.
As far as gank fights go, both black rabbit fights are pretty damn good imo
yall just adults now, go live and stop seeking for the same feeling you had when kids, its obvious its not gon feel the same, but don't get me wrong, its okay to play games.
Really enjoyed Lies of P but Nioh is the best soulslike for me
*the Yakuza franchise has kept me alive as a gamer the past 4 years 👌 and that says ALOT because Yakuza is a blatant copy paste franchise 😂everything else has just been aggressively mid* 👎
Unpopular opinion... From soft should take notes about some things that Lies of P does better than their games. Yes, I know the Soulsborne community can't accept that these games have, my Lord, flaws just like any other videogame, but that's honestly how I feel.
Really great game, but as far as best souls-like I'll have to give it to Ni-Oh 1 and 2.
So sick of companys complaining about costs when there the ones that want everything hyper realistic instead of just picking a damn art style
I've never been much for doomer-ism so watching it trend on youtube is always pretty lame. Encouraging people to explore outside of their comfort zone is smart. I wonder how many will try because of this video.
love this game
I had to change the way I interacted with the TH-cam gaming sphere in order to enjoy gaming again. Way too many TH-camrs seek the latest hated game trend instead of focusing on games that are good or even mediocre. Forspoken was bad, we get it. Did the gaming youtube community need to drag the hate for the game for a whole month? No, but I realized that hate is more important for the gaming community than enjoyment. The algorithm sees that contempt gets the most views, so TH-camrs continue to feed the algorithm.
Dude... that outro song is amazing what is that? Edit: found it. Didn't even read description lol
When people complain "there's no good games anymore" they're probably talking about the big budget triple A releases. And yeah, there's not as many these days, but if you take a look at some lower profile titles there's a lot to see
You brought up a point that is legit 90% of this game's difficulty. Way too many attack go like this: Wind-up(fairly average speed) > Hold(variable length) > swing down (faster than human reaction time). The issue with this telegraphing philosophy is that those moves are simply unreactable, the way to deflect them is to simply memorize how long the "hold" animation is and make the decision to deflect BEFORE the enemy has started their swing down. After beating the game, I just went to random videos and measured just how fast those "hard" attacks are, and they're just absurdly fast, I'm talking sub 150ms. Things like laxasia and final boss phase 2 first attack are purely a brute force timing memorization, you're not reacting the the actual attack coming your way, you're simply going "ok he went into the stance.. 1..2..3 deflect" all before he moved a muscle towards you. These types of attacks can be nice to raise the stakes and make you feel challenged, but when it's the MAIN mode of difficulty, it just becomes cheap. Of course not every single attack is like this, but it's way too frequent that most of your deaths will be the result of them. It genuinely feels like they designed actually solid telegraphing and went "make the last part 200% faster". Check out the scrapped watchman attack where he spins his arm and slams down, that shit is masterfully done. Still the best souls-like.
Throwing a sub on brother, godspeed
No. People who say it is are too lazy to look deeper than just Triple-A games, made by studios claiming to be the one's behind games they played during their childhood, but are actually different studios with the same name, where executives who don't care about games are the ones in control. There's still many good games out there, developed by indie studios where the developers themselves are the ones making all the decisions.
I think the main issue is that Modern "Triple A" gaming tends to hog the spotlight most of the time, so the highs are high and the lows are low. A lot of the *really* good games in recent years have been from Indie companies that had a clear vision and direction they wanted to go for (Games like Baldur's Gate and Armored Core being the exception to most of the Triple A Shlock that gets pushed out.) Like look at Deep Rock Galactic. It's a Live Service game that people actually enjoy dropping into and out of because the Live Service elements are actually fun to engage with. Each season adds a new twist on the mission layout and each mission has its own resources and collectibles to gather. And the only DLC they have are cosmetic packs that give weapon and character skins to support the Devs. The main reason it works is because A: DRG has a clear vision and direction they want to go in without feeling like they're pandering to focus groups and checklists, and B: The devs are extremely open with their community and constantly transparent when it comes to updates about balance, season releases, and the like. They've even walked back a few of their decisions due to backlash. (Such as changing the cosmetics on a Support DLC because the community felt it didn't feel up to par with other Support DLCs, leading them to completely revamp them with new models and color schemes.) Triple A gaming for the most part feels so out of touch with their audience, and you hardly ever see bigger devs put that level of care into their community and fans.
Right, it’s survivorship bias. People only hate AAA games as much as they do because of how much publicity they get. With trash indie games which there are considerably more of, no one cares because they don’t know about them. If bad indie games got as much publicity as bas AAA games I guarantee you these doomscrolling elitists would hate everyone involved in gaming
There's a rumor that the next Mass Effect game won't be out until 2029, and what's weird to me is that it's actually a believable rumor. Nearly seven years after the release of Mass Effect: Andromeda and nearly three years after BioWare officially abandoned their live service disaster Anthem, we have no information about the next Mass Effect's story, confirmation of only one character to be featured in it, and no gameplay footage. The most we've gotten is a teaser trailer that revealed the aforementioned character at the end, and that was three years ago. Everything else coming out of BioWare on the subject of the next Mass Effect has been vague and cryptic, right down to the most recent teaser trailer that was nothing but a mysterious female figure onscreen for 30 seconds. Add to that the fact that they're trying to finish the next Dragon Age AND laying off a bunch of people and I can totally believe that the next Mass Effect won't be out until 2029. I'm all for taking the time you need to make a game what it should be, but there has to be a limit. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think we need to remind these developers and publishers that the people for whom they're making these games have finite lifespans. I was in my late 20s when I played the first Mass Effect, and Mass Effect 3 was out by the time I was 31. I was 36 when Mass Effect: Andromeda came out. If the next Mass Effect really ends up coming out in 2029, I'll be 48 or 49 (depending on when in the year it releases). That's an absurd time gap. I don't need an absolutely massive game that's going to take a decade or longer to finish. All I want is a solid space adventure with a compelling story and fun gameplay.
akiha is way better than horseballs
What you say is true
I'm halfway through the game, it's gonna be a 9/10 at least. Great review you got a sub ❤
Modern gaming isn’t the issue, it’s the lack of quality that goes into AAA games, saints row for example. The amount of money that gets pumped into game development is crazy and yet they don’t handle it with care, they just spend millions to throw together slop for the sake of selling. These games requires good themes and planning to make the concept work. Baldurs gate and Spider-Man are examples of them caring about the game. They may not be the best games visually, functionally or in story but they meet the standard because you can tell they cared about making it work rather than making it to make it.
The high budget is part of the problem with Triple-A games, it doesn't allow any risks to be taken. Thinking higher budget = better game is very surface level thinking. The main problem with Triple-A gaming is that "making it to make it" is literally the point, Triple-A games are made just to please executives looking to buy a new yacht, which they'll also need a new helicopter and Bugatti to get to. Said executives are the ones truly developing the game, and the developers are just following their orders. This is all despite the fact that the executives don't truly care about the games being made, and they've probably never played a game in their lifetimes. Quit focusing on Triple-A gaming at all. Move your attention to indie and Double-A gaming, and never look back
@@the_motherfucker honestly it really is annoying and it frustrates me to see developers spend years working on games that have no true image other than “making it to make it” Skull and bones for example just released, that game had so much potential and it took 8 years to develop. And it annoys me because as inexperienced as I am, even I can plan out a more refined game that skull and bones. I’m glad companies like rockstar handle their games with care (for story mode atleast) I wish I could focus on indie games but their budget is so low that when they release it feels like an old game. Somehow gaming Just feels like it’s going backwards The new suicide squad gameplay sucks, but the worst part is it’s visually worst than its 7 year old Arkham predecessor made by the same company.
It is still an absolute blast and 2023 has had some of the best games EVER! Such as Tears Of The Kingdom, Re4 Remake, Armored Core 6.
can anyone please tell me the games at 7:49 and at 7:52 ? they look super nice to try to jump into !
I'm 100% sure that's Need for Speed: Underground. What I'm not so sure is if it's Underground 1 or Underground 2. From what I remember about the UI I think it's 1.
Great Content
We live in a post-Baldur's Gate 3 world. It's objectively not terrible.

It's proably more terrible than what everyone says
These clickbaity videos claiming that "modern gaming is dead" are mostly because social networks operate on hyperbole, that's how we've been trained unfortunately, the hotter the take the most clicks it gets. That said, I've took a few breaks from videogames before and it only reinforced how much I enjoy them, as of now I still game on a PS4 and my PC is old but I'm playing as much games as I used to when I was young, if only I had more free time...
i just tune in GOTY for a chance to win a free Steam Deck and Lenovo Legion Go haha..... let's just say i have my time wasted for it 🥲
who is ""Everyone "" ?
I have yet to see a video of this game that makes me want to play it.
