Jesus that's cool. I'm sad that I used the first few bosses ergo before realizing you could trade them with Alidoro (hadn't encountered him). I've been using the exploding pickaxe and pipe wrench up to Grand Exhibition. Nice showcase!
The charged parry this weapon has absolutely works against bosses. It's actually kind of busted if you can execute it. It completely stops bosses in their tracks, immediately ending any combos they may have started and leaving them vulnerable to follow-up attacks. This parry allows for some truly aggressive play and styling on enemies. If you find that you can't parry boss attacks with this, you need to practice the timings more. Keep in mind that it is most effective against attacks with a long startup phase since this parry has a bit of a longer startup animation.
