FBMS 4374 circle to land (CTL) to Gimhae: heavy GW, low visibility, and raining ; TE link added
มุมมอง 123หลายเดือนก่อน
At certain airbases, the approach trajectory to a runway might be obstructed by elevated terrain or restricted airspace. If there is a tailwind exceeding 15 knots when landing in the opposite direction, the preferred procedure is circling to land. Gimhae Airport is one such example. Due to a hill in front of Runway 180, a direct approach is impossible, requiring most airplanes to circle to land...
FBMS4374 Landing in 3H (three High: temperature, elevation, and gross weight) condition ; TE linked
มุมมอง 157หลายเดือนก่อน
This mission focuses on landing. Various factors influence landing, such as crosswind, weather (rain/snow), visibility, etc. There are many ready missions available in the default TE mission. For this mission, I have considered three ‘High’ conditions: high gross weight (GW), temperature, and elevation. These factors affect the approach speed, landing distance, and braking energy. In this situa...
FBMS4374 Training for ILS (Instrument Landing System) in Low Visibility and Wet Runway Conditions
มุมมอง 91หลายเดือนก่อน
This training focuses on performing an ILS (Instrument Landing System) approach in poor weather conditions, characterized by low visibility and a wet runway. It is recommended to use the arresting cables installed at Daegu Air Force Base to prevent overruns. Considerations: 1. Estimated Landing Distance: a. Total: 5,400 feet alpha (1~2k feet) b. Aerobraking: 3,200 feet c. Wheelbraking: 2,200 fe...

FBMS437 maintenance flight for air-to-air refuel with TrackIR
มุมมอง 925 หลายเดือนก่อน
Air to Air Refuel (AAR) is a tough task, not just in real life but in flight simulators. AAR increases the combat and cruise distance of fighters and bombers. There is two types of methods: flying boom and probe/drogue(basket). Most F16s have only receptacle for flying boom. RSAF F16D52 has both receptacle and probe. The refueller which supports flying boom is KC10, KC135, and etc. They carry a...
FBMS437 formation flight with TrackIR
มุมมอง 825 หลายเดือนก่อน
Formation flight is a type of aviation operation where multiple aircraft fly in close proximity to each other in a coordinated manner. It's used for a variety of purposes such as training, airshows, aerial photography, and tactical operations by military, commercial, and civilian aircraft. Techniques involved in formation flight include close coordination and communication between pilots, preci...

FYI in those situations you should call for a heavy landing with approach. It will grant you the longest runway automatically even if it’s in use for take offs

i remember 5 min ramp start with clean aircraft.. (it probably can be done in less time if you have EGI instead of INS) i saw a some errors (and a lot of back and forth between switches without obvious reason) get a checklist, print it and run the items one by one.. that way you will be more efficient. (also practice your landings, too high/fast and unstabilized approach) A. for effort though...

I'll ask around and see how he got that F-35. It might be intergratable, but I gotta do some asking. Hopefully, it might be within grasp.
