How decluttering my skincare saved my skin | My journey with cystic acne
Sharing my journey healing my cystic acne naturally, and how decluttering my skincare massively helped heal my skin. In the journey of simplifying my life, my skin was a huge indicator that less really is more. Minimalism saved my skin, and I'm sharing how in this video.

Wooohoo yes Jess! <3 It's so supportive to hear you openly talk about your experience with your body and how that had an impact on purchases etc. I also recovered from an eating disorder and anxiety comes up regularly around my changing body pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding, pregnant again currently! I've lived in a tiny house the past 8 years and yet I still feel like I have WAY too many clothes. Im re-inspired to pair it back again. New subscriber! <3 thankyou for your authenticity xx

As an esthetician and with the experience in Russia as well, I can tell that the best thing to use to heal your skin is Atopalm face cream - mle which is actually healing your barrier, not just preventing water loss. 5.5 ph face wash and that’s it.

Blackstrap molasses (must be blackstrap) is a great mineral source! I've been turning into a coffee replacement by mixing about 1 Tbsp with water until it's diluted to my taste, adding cream or milk like I would my coffee.

I sense God is asking our generation to let go of materialism, excess, overstimulation, worry, and want. God wants us to quiet our lives and build a life of prayer. You are showing people a fantastic example as a mother of young kids - thank you!

For me, when I found God everything changed. I also struggle with severe acne, and had since I was very young. It was something I always was ashamed of, and made fun of for. Into my 20s I still couldn’t stop it. I was on medication for 6 months, and it came back. Once I found God I started to acknowledge what He wants from us. He asks that we take care of our bodies, and this was a firework moment for me. This meant changing my diet to what God would want. Fruits, vegetables, all the healthy things. So, I tried it. My skin cleared like crazy. I stopped investing all my money into money hungry companies. I stopped looking in the mirror with pressure that if I saw one single spot I was “ugly”. No, God says I’m beautiful, and fearfully and wonderfully created. I stopped being so obsessed with my appearance due to vanity being rooted in evil. My entire life changed truly. I am so thankful for that ❤

Would love a follow up video on the long story! I just did a year of gut work followed by detox. My skin was bad and got worse during detox but it's helpful to hear that the internal work needs to be complemented by the skin barrier support. I was bummed when the detox ended and my skin only slightly inproved. I use two products: grassfed tallow balm (full of vit a) and FIQ's Copper Cream. Copper is an essential mineral in repair of cellular structure. I might try ice bowls to help my lymph! Thanks for the info. Love to see success stories!
