Thanks! When I got my car, it was a 316 with a carbureted M10B16. I drove it as my daily for about a year before swapping the engine for an M42B18. I kept it as my daily for another 7 months, but then I switched to an E46 because I wanted something more comfortable. If you’re thinking about getting an E30 for your first car (like I did), my advice is to get the best one you can afford, with a clean body and a solid engine. You could swap the engine later, but honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it for a daily driver-it just makes things less reliable. So, go for the most powerful engine you can get from the start. The 318is with the M42 is a great option. It’s quick, fuel efficient, and pretty low maintenance (just oil changes and spark plugs). But since clean 318is models are going for crazy money now (like up to $20k), that might be out of reach. A 320i is a solid alternative and probably a better daily driver because of that silky smooth inline 6. Or if you can, just grab a 325i and you’re golden, haha. Realistically though, you’ll probably be looking at M10 or M40 models. Both are solid, but the M10 is a little more tough. I’d avoid carbureted versions if you can since carburetors can be a headache to maintain and tend to cause problems (mine was fine, but I know others who’ve had issues). Also, make sure the car’s been daily driven and regularly serviced. That’ll make your life so much easier, and you won’t be stuck chasing vacuum leaks or undoing rusted bolts all the time, haha.

It has ST suspensions -40mm springs and dampers, I swapped the engine from m10b16 to m42b18. Ronal LS wheels, Recaro LS seats, MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, Schmiedmann short shifter and exhaust manifold. And bunch of smaller things.

@@clementboutillier7001 I shoot with GoPro 12 and I use a superview lens setting for these videos. Sometimes I also use an ND filter if it’s super bright outside.

Nah, not really. It’s hard to mess that up. I could always tell where the car was going, even when I spun out. I knew the spin was coming before it actually happened. I never felt like there was a danger of hitting the tanker. Otherwise I would not be doing that because risking hitting a tanker with my E30 is a very very poor financial decision 😂
