Beautiful scenery and very little traffic, looks like a petrol-heads dream. Also that handbrake turn caught me off guard, i'd be afraid of snapping the handbrake off trying to do that in mine.

Thank you so much! It’s not that I like one more than the other, they’re very different cars. Yes they are both a 3 series and you can tell that when driving, but still very different cars! For example: E46 has a lot more mechanical grip than the E30, I can go through the cornes way faster, but with an E30 I feel every grip level change through the steering wheel and I feel much more in control of the car than with the E46. I can tell exactly what each wheel is doing and I like that very much. E46 is way more daily drivable, more comfortable, better car all around! But e30 is more pure and precise.
I have fun in both cars but it’s different kind of fun. Hope that answers your question 😅

E30 318iS was my very first car back in early 2000's. It was very nice car.
Nice! This was also my first car! Except it had a carburated M10 before I swapped it 😀. It really is a great car!

fun fact - M42 motor koji je u njemu je prvi BMWov motor s dvije bregaste (DOHC) i među rijetkim koji ima karter iz dva dijela koji malo zna zajebavat (em što leži nisko pa ga možeš zakačit a i to što je iz dva dijela pa ako hoćeš jedan dio skinut, moraš oba jer je donji dio zašarafljen za gornji a gornji najčešće pravi probleme). pregledavaj šarafe da ne bi karter poletio.
Znam 😀. Provjerio sam i ponovno zabrtvio cijeli motor prije nego što sam ga stavio u auto. Karter ima nove šarafe i zategnuti su malo jače nego tvornički.

what exhaust setup are you running?
The worst possible. No cat, no resonator, just Schmiedmann headers and then straight into a 318i muffler. Sounds horrible irl, don’t try this at home 🤣.

How did you record the sound?
I have 2 mics: one at the intake and one at the exhaust + the iphone which picks up the cabin sound.
@@Bemfa_ I tried using a Rode video mic and a Tascam DR-05X for the exhaust sound, but I think the gain was too high... Thanks!
