I love the theory I heard years ago that when the doctor is just saying Physics repeatedly to the children, he's slipping into multiple theoreoms that human's don't have yet so the TARDIS is just translating it all as the repeated word of Physics.

There’s a quote I love from 10 that is always left out of these types of quotes videos from the same episode as in tru da window window, where the doctor is talking to an engineering prodigy who has developed a zero emission car and the doctor pointed out that while he may solve the immediate environmental problem ultimately the car still runs on fossil fuels, which might expedite another problem. The prodigy clearly annoyed tells the doctor that he made a minor grammatical error during his statement and treats that like a whole counter argument. The doctor says with equal parts pity and annoyance “It’s been a very long time since anyone told you no isn’t it.”

Tens rant before entering the Chamber…. I just realized Wilf is seeing him breaking down, angry, almost immature in the face of death. And there is this face of sadness, heartbreak, the Doctor may be hundreds of years old but with all the trauma and self loathing, and self repression. Wilf realizes the Doctor is kinda still like a child, and when he realizes that he will sacrifice himself he panics. No, don’t do this, live and let me die in my old age.

I wouldn't mind some of the older compilations of "the Doctor once said." In particular I would be interested in seeing a compilation focusing on William Hartnell. I think the line that made me laugh the first time when I heard it was Hartnell saying to Susan in Dalek Invasion of Earth "I think you earned yourself a jolly good smacked bottom." Very dated phrase, but the fact that David Bradley who played the First Doctor said that line to Bill in Twice Upon a Time makes the line more memorable.

I am often worried, having never made it even to Peter Capaldi, about these two doctors because of a few choice scenes that make the rounds, but then I see scenes like 1:34 and I wonder if the only bad parts about those two doctors are the 2-4 clips shown of them.

If not for this adaptation I wouldn't be a fan of shakespeare at all but now I love him so much. I saw much ado in the globe a few months ago and it was genuinely the most fun I've ever had. Shakespeare is AWESOME!!
