Ianto’s character isn’t perfect, but he’s a great example of how to write a queer character well. He’s a person who was queer instead of his sexuality being his only trait.
I agree just show how a gay couple could be portrayed in film and tv these days more often : the writing and acting of these two make it the best on screen gay couple and realstic as they actually have dynamic personality to the character and story behind it that pays off , other than just sexuality

Bless you for all this torchwood content, I could never bring myself to finish it knowing Ianto dies. And they took the show off all streaming services in my country so I can't rewatch these scenes
I really recommend the audios too bc you get a lot more depth on the relationship. You also get an "ily" from Jack when he finds ianto after he's died. I especially recommend Serenity, it's literally them going undercover as a couple
They turned Jack into an asshole in s3 so unnecessarily just to make Ianto's death hurt more 💀 Like come on, we clearly see Jack wanting to make their relationship official after TYTNW, but suddenly he's like ew boyfriends ew couples? He was cold and distant for no reason. It was OOC for him to treat Ianto like that
@cygnusmutai8160 😅 Welll... I kept the number of panic attacks under 50. Didn't do as well as I'd like (BCC) but tbh- i still got to where I wanted to go. And now im attempting to get better. I'm going to counselling and just got referred. Work could be better but I'm finding my feet, and I'm surrounded by amazing people. I think it's hard to admit to yourself sometimes when u get to a new chapter in life and you're still you. Nothing has really changed in ur brain, it's purely the environment, so you finally realise the problem was never outside. It was you. Realising the world has been lifeless and grey since u were a kid, It takes a lot to come to terms with that. When u realise the house ur staying in that LOOKED FINE actually has leaks and mould, and turns out the roof has giant holes in it, you'd try to fix it.
