Hello, ty for the video. I can not take control the crade by pressing menu button on my 2023 f750gs. I dont know if the problem is about my tft screen. I do not see TFT-NAV signs at the top left side as the others BMW bikes?

Very interesting, I currently have a Honda VTX 1800, was just speaking with my mechanic about upgrading to either a 2018-2021 Gold Wing due to it has a reverse feature. Since I have lower back issues figure this would fit the bill. But my mechanic said I need to be mindful they are expense to maintain

This may explain why my fuel cap does’t lock. Someone siphoned full tank of 91 octane. Had to eat Bologna sandwiches that week. .

It does make a good phone mount. However the app is limited. No audio, no street names, no Siri will not work with phone case.

Time to change this design. Nothing is new. This all old from 2016.

Any idea why the Favorites function does not appear to work well? When I select the star icon on a ride (within the Recorded Rides main page), the star changes to blue color, which I assumed meant the ride was added to my Favorites. But it is not. Perhaps a bug in the app?

Great job on the app. How do you get the gpx file from the app to the sat nav unit itself? As well if I want turn by turn vs a track, how does that work? Thank you

Many thanks for these tips. I have an RT and have used the connected app for touring Ireland, Scotland and Spain, and have suffered occasional loss of the map when riding, requiring me to stop and reconnect the iPhone. This is occasionally a real issue if I am on a motorway and cant just stop. I will give this a try, I am off for a 3 week tour of France in a weeks time so will let you know if it helps. I have reached out to the Motorrad Help Desk, and they have yet to respond after 4 weeks.

I had a problem all day with map mode not starting on my R1250RT. Turns out I had my VPN running on my phone. Turned that off and problem solved.

will not hold most phones with a case. So you are forced to take your phone in and out of its protection every time you use it. This is the most overpriced phone holder on the market. And it feels cheap.

In the custom buttons, can one riding mode have setting for suspension pro system preset for lowest drop? 812mm inseam. I think it lowers seat height by 20mm? From lowest 849mm seat low position? Adding low seat would bring it to 819mm, then other mode to be cloned but suspension preload raised? Not sure if auto could account for that or not when slowing to stop . Or can auto raise and lower by speed?

I have an RT and it’s great but the the system can be tricky. I have downloaded maps onto the Motorrad app but have never tried using it without data. I have never had weather avail on the screen.

Thank you for posting this video. I am considering an RT1250 with this display and the connection problem is one of my major concerns. Your comment about the dedicated second phone is interesting, If you have a phone with no data plan, can you still plan routes and use GPS as if you are using an activated phone with a data plan? Can this screen also diplay weather radar? Thanks in advance.

It really sucks that bmw locks the controls only to their app. other companies (Carpe iter, for example) let you control the whole phone. Not to mention the cradle is completely unnecessary extra complexity, a quadlock setup is a million times more secure and less expensive.

Mine works fine, but will give the Chigee a try. The lower bracket also broke. Thank you for the part no. Keep up the great work.Opened the cradle. and for the price, they could have at least used aluminum on the moving parts. Very cheap internals plastic parts.

Anybody who knows what a blinking LED means? I had the LED on my cradle blinking 3 times red before it went off. But I had it blinking 3 times green before going off also.
